There has been a lot of times, in the last decade probably, where we just didn't demonstrate a high basketball IQ and it hurt us. It happens. In the heat of the moment you always hope your training and practice will take over and you handle the challenges. For whatever reasons we haven't. Got to definitely get that fixed.

Regardless of that, there's a lot to be positive about in my opinion if we keep the team together. Glimpses of what Devin, Amare and Juni can be were quite tantalizing. Diebs can actually coach in my opinion and it seems like he's finally finding his style and approach and guys were responding. Now we have to take next steps.

Underrated? Hmmm, so long as we don't keep using him as a fullback maybe. Didn't think much of his blocking when lined up that way.

All is not lost! Still have Cannon, Gallagher, Kharchla, and Geog in the blood rounds! Would be great to see Gallagher AA! Geog loses the first round just to battle back. He beat th kid from Oregon State to avenge a loss from earlier this season. Kharchla has a great shot to AA, and I think Cannon gets it done too.

Davino and Mendez both have shots at titles and the rubber match between Davino and Blaze is set to be a monster match!

I really think Feldman is hurt, and I think he got hurt at the Big Ten meet. He looked concerned during the Keuter match but muscled through it. I feel bad for Nic. Kid made a massive sacrifice for the good of the team. He got caught. It happens. No way was he 100% either. Stiles had trouble with weight, but got a little lazy at times too imo. Not sure about Fishback. I mentioned a case of hew might be happening. Who knows.

Regardless, our guys can still ball out tonight

Well, definitely not the day I was hoping for but I'm feeling good about Mendez and Davino advancing. Would love for Davino to come up big on Blaze in back to back big moments.

Btw I’m at a boring high school baseball game…I work on computers but rarely use them otherwise lol

I'll even agree that the meltdown some are having over the last play with 4 seconds left to go the whole court is stupid. Was it ideal? Probably not, but in those situations it's very hard to actually pull it off, it usually takes a combo of a play falling into place perfectly and some luck.

Right here is an example of a very good play to take advantage of TCU's aggressive ball screen blitz, really good play design to attack TCU's defense. TCU forces the PG to pass the ball but obviously it's hard to hit the roll man when 2 guys are in your face, so here they get Tilly involved to make the assist:
