Notre Dame (football only discussion)

Yep at least the ACC gives them Clemson and FSU the Big XII gives them what as far names? And basically none of their long-term rivals as well. Which the ACC has Boston College and Pitt
They don't want teams to share the spotlight with. You hear is talking points? "We fill ACC stadiums more than when we're not playing. We're so important. We're more important than everyone else."

Indiana Hoosiers (2025 National Champions)

Don't know about the stats, but watching the game I felt like we had been outplayed most of it. Hell, go back to the game thread (I'm not going to) and you can quote my halftime comment about being outplayed but still winning. We finally played in the 4th quarter (until their final kill clock drive giving up that long bomb), but came up short with some shit 3rd and 1 play calls and shit execution on a QB sneak and FG. Unfortunately, that's a game where you can't basically take 3 quarters off and come away with a win. I'm mostly talking offense here, as the defense did well and were on the field a lot.

2025 College Football Playoffs Discussion (12 Team Format)

Personally, I'd rather teams that won a conference championship (any conference) have a shot than teams that finished fucking 5th in a conference. I felt this way last year, too, though I'm happy we won it all, I'm not really sure we "deserved" to be there. But I guess I'm a traditionalist who remembers when 1 loss was basically the death knell for being called "national champion" but we still had the chance to win the B1G and go to the Rose Bowl.

I feel like the 5th best SEC/B1G team is way better than the best Mountain West team and don't care to see the MWC team get ass pounded in a tournament just to be "fair" to little guys.

Domer tears are sweet stuff but the 12 team field would be better with them and one more major team in it than this JMU, Tulane nonsense.
