2025 Spring Practices, Spring Game, and other Tidbits

My money is on Sayin come the first game. Thinking Kienholz will get some decent film and transfer soon.
My money is on Sayin as well, but I don't think Day will let kienholz transfer. He will say it's a back and forth race until the very end just like he did with McCord and Brown.

I will say though Sayin better be a Much Better passer than Kienholz, cause he is absurd athletic. His HS tape of all the sports show a freak.

2026 CA WR Chris Henry Jr. Is a Buckeye!!!

Are you saying you don’t listen to “no”

Or “please”

Or “stop”
It’s mostly psychological…..today’s no is tomorrow’s maybe and the day-after-tomorrow”s yes
Please begs for clarification such as “ok, just so that i understand you…..”
Stop - not the end of the line forever, but for now……which means find another pathway into the heart or head of the buyer

Most good salesmen keep all customers and prospects of potential note in their mind.

2024-2025 College Basketball General Discussion

Not knowing anything about any of the last 4
I watched FL vs Auburn and damn entertaining game...
then I did not watch Houston-Duke
since all the talking heads said 'why bother, Duke by 100'
slap the head
Yesterday was 2 of the most intense games I’ve seen this season perhaps longer. Tall athletic dudes who can run, box out, rebound, play d, shoot…..at all positions.

Now watching the best the women have to offer. It’s an exciting and fundamental game but the disparity in the athleticism and ability to play fluidly. No offense to the ladies, but about any Ohio boys high school team that is .500 could smoke either of these teams.

Duke Blue Devils (that rat faced scumbag)

Re: But Duke scored just one field goal in the final 10:31 of the game and proceeded to blow a 59-45 lead. Houston then ended the game on a 9-0 run in the final 1:14 to secure a 70-67 win and finish off an all-time collapse by a Duke team that was hoping to win the program's sixth national title.

Cooper Flagg, Duke left devastated after dream season turns into nightmare with stunning Final Four collapse

Eyes focused, face a picture of determination, Cooper Flagg held the ball on the wing and waited for the ideal moment to attack.

He had one chance to erase a one-point deficit, one chance to preserve Duke’s flickering title hopes, one chance to erase the memory of a stunning late-game collapse.

At first, Flagg drove left and got Houston’s J’Wan Roberts on his hip, but a help defender stepped into his path. Flagg then backed Roberts down, turned over his left shoulder and used his off hand to create some space. The short pull-up jumper that Flagg attempted is one that he has hit dozens of times this season. This time, he clanked it off the front rim, sending the Houston fans in the Alamodome into a state of red delirium and leaving his star-laden Duke team shattered and shell-shocked.

When asked to describe that sequence after Duke’s 70-67 Final Four loss, Flagg said that the Blue Devils executed the play head coach Jon Scheyer drew up.

“Took it into the paint, thought I got my feet set, rose up,” Flagg said. “Left it short obviously, but it’s a shot I’m willing to live with in that scenario.”

Just sayin': Duke choked. Don't you just feel really bad for Duke? OK, who here actually wanted Duke to win?

NHL (Official Thread)

That's an amazing feat, but it's still hilarious that he's tied for first with goals, but he's 11th in points. And that 99 is 1200 more points ahead of #2.
Granted Ovechkin hasn't ever played with anyone near the caliber of a Messier or Kurri or even a Paul Coffey either, but they are totally two different types of players. Gretzky was always more of a set up guy in mindset, whereas Ovechkin has been a goal scorer from day one.

yeah. Gretzky was a beast at Center, where he'll get more assists than a winger will, as their (a winger, like Ovi) is supposed to be taking the shots and getting in on net for the rebound chances.

But people bringing this up like it diminishes Ovi's achievement. Two completely different eras. Gretzky played when goalies wore newspapers as pads and stood up covering 1/3 of the net. Goalies today are way more athletic and cover 50% or more of the net with their gear. Ovi also did it while playing a more physical game, meaning he was more at risk of injury than #99.

Gretzky was the greatest all around offensive player, by far, but I'd say Ovechkin is the better goal scorer
