atozsports.comOhio State Buckeyes are showing interest in a transfer portal player that fits just what they badly need
Ohio State still needs to add some size in the front court and they are showing interest in another transfer center.
The Buckeyes have been in contact with Grand Canyon C Duke Brennan in the transfer portal
According to Rivals, the Buckeyes are one team that has reached out to Grand Canyon transfer C Duke Brennan. The 6-foot-10 center has also heard from schools like West Virginia, USC, Rutgers, Clemson, and Iowa amongst others.

Brennan is heading into his senior season and averaged 10.4 points and 9.2 rebounds per game in 30 starts for Grand Canyon. As a sophomore, Brennan started 35 games for Grand Canyon and put up 7.0 points and 6.7 rebounds per game. Brennan started his career at Arizona State and he appeared in 36 games with the Sun Devils, but played in just nine minutes per game.
Ohio State has three surefire starters at the moment with Bruce Thornton, John Mobley Jr., and Devin Royal returning. Tilly could be another starter for the Buckeyes, with just one starting spot remaining.
Bringing in two seven-footers from the transfer portal in total would give the Buckeyes the needed size. Bradshaw’s addition didn’t go as planned and the Buckeyes have to improve from that.
Houston's game is what it is, you don't change your identity because the other team is figuring out how to play you. If Houston had chucked up a desperation 3 that went in at the buzzer, no one would be criticizing them now. It was a tight game, and it's very easy to be Monday-evening analyst - ultimately they were close enough to win playing the way they did.I know that, but they played too hyper, sometimes you gotta pull it in and play a little calmer when that isn't working. Trying to keep doing the same thing over and over again when Florida had clearly figured it out and was stopping it is just bad play.
I give Florida credit but them winning again is annoying. I know its been awhile since they won back to back but it's still somewhat recent enough memory.
It was one boneheaded mistake, under a ton of pressure. But you were calling it a choke when they weren't doing anything seriously wrong at all. Florida just outplayed Houston to get that lead, that wasn't really a choke, Houston just got outplayed. Yes, they blew it at the end. But you can't take credit away from Florida, they deserved to win, they worked very hard to put themselves in position to win that game. That was a very brutal choke job at the end there. Lol.
You don't understand Houston's game. They are a hyper team, they are all about energy, toughness, outworking and wearing out the other team. It didn't work out in the end today, but you've got to credit Florida for putting the clamps on them defensively.
WE'RE A BASKETBALL CONFERENCE!The SEC took their football, ran home and traded it in for a basketball after the playing field was evened in football.

Florida did play some good defense but Houston definitely did not help themselves either. It wasn't just those last 2 possessions.
Tugler, one of their top rebounders, fouled out with 45 seconds. Maybe that would have worked, maybe not.Houston SHOULD have been shooting more threes.
Any time they tried to go in the lane late, it was a disaster. Florida had hands everywhere.
At least with missed 3s, Houston could have ran their best offense - the offensive rebound/putback.
I don't think it's a choke when the other team is forcing you to be uncomfortable like Florida was. Houston was all out of sorts, but it was because of the defense of Florida.
Nah. You're out of your mind. Florida reached in and stripped the ball from Sharp, that's not a choke, that's just a turnover. You can say good defense by Florida, but Sharp choked on the last two possessions.
Houston didn't even get a shot off on either of them.
