Vikings GM expects McCarthy to be on Week 1 roster, 'to develop'​

Vikings general manager Nolan Teasley said Wednesday that he expects quarterback J.J. McCarthy to be a part of the team's roster when the regular season begins.

Teasley's comments were a show of measured support following a summer in which McCarthy lost his starting job and appears to be third on the Vikings' depth chart behind Kyler Murray and Carson Wentz.

There was a bbq place in Brevard,NC that had the front page of a Boone, NC newspaper framed hanging behind the cash register. It was celebrating the upset .
Owner's kid went to App State at that time. Told him there was more App State gear sold in Columbus after that game than in Boone and he said he had heard that but didn't know why. I explained how deep the hatred ran for the cheaters. He was somewhat surprised.
