He might never play for OSU. Apparently his eligibility could end when the next court hearing happens, January 30th. They must have him on the rocket docket.

Ohio State Safety Cody Haddad Enters Transfer Portal After One Year with Buckeyes​

Haddad is a three-star prospect from St. Ignatius High School in Cleveland. He was considered the No. 523 overall recruit and No. 45 safety in the class of 2025 by the 247Sports composite rankings. He never played a snap for Ohio State as a freshman, taking a redshirt year.

There was no clear path to playing time for Haddad in the near future, either. The Buckeyes added two safeties through the transfer portal to start alongside Jaylen McClain in 2026: Terry Moore (Duke) and Earl Little Jr. (Florida State). Rising redshirt sophomore Leroy Roker III saw use in dime packages for Ohio State in 2025 and projects to be first off the bench in 2026. Redshirt freshman Deshawn Stewart is a higher-rated prospect from Haddad's class.

Just sayin': I'm guessing that he got into the transfer portal 100% for playing time and 0% for more NIL money. Hopefully some other (i.e. probably lower level) school offers him a scholarship and he gets what he wants, etc. I wish him a lot of luck.

Shit Elly is a better shortstop than Bo Bitchtits ever thought about being.

He would have been a nice bat in the order, but he's increasingly becoming a liability at shortstop defensively and it's entirely likely his best season offensively has already happened.

$42 million per year for that is insane. And he's not going to play short with the Mets - Lindor is light years better. So on top of probably already seeing his best offensive year, he's going to have to switch positions too.

Guys like Ripken and ARod would make 60+ million per year in this era :lol:
