Does Mike Hart get one "L" dropped from his thread title if it was him?
Make no mistake, Bikey was a shit talker. Not a good one either, it came across whiny and arrogant. Which, given the scUM billing, is pretty typical.
But there is something the passage of time and circumstances has revealed - Mike had a reverence for The Game. Beating tOSU was one of the highest, if not the highest mantle he wanted to achieve. He said so himself - win a natty and beat The Buckeyes.
If Hart turned his Alma mater and CMU in because his character trumps his desire to cheat, then bravo. He would be the man who actually held up the Schembechler spirit that Harbaugh blatantly shits on yet so feverishly quotes and claims to represent.
If Hart at any point said to himself "I so desperately want to beat tOSU, but not like this, not at the price of my integrity" ... then good on him. We should be so lucky to have not an enemy, but a great and worthy opponent. One who is worthy of our remembrance and proper place in the history of The Rivalry, despite LLLL.
Or.... maybe he's just bitter he was treated 2nd class on the coaching staff and he narc'd on all of them because he wasn't as high up on the pecking order he wanted. Then that means hell hath no fury like a Bikey scorned.
Either way, he should receive thanks should scUM burn.
