NBC won’t budge on what? The parasite drains its host dry, leaving it on the brink and then finds a new host to suck dry.

Chat g p t filtered out some of ND softness.Obviously a fake.
Hair isn't shiny enough
Notre Dame got fucked hard.
ESPN successfully made the conversation "Does Miami or Notre Dame make the playoff?", as if Alabama already belonged, well before they got royally but fucked by Georgia. There should have been no conversation at all whether Miami or ND should have made it in, they both should have been in there.
ESPN campaigned all week against Notre Dame to get the committee to fuck them over in favor of Alabama. It was always about Bama making it in. The more horses the SEC has in the race, the more likely the SEC wins it all.
Fuck the SEC, fuck ESPN and I'm shocked so many fell for it. Notre Dame recognizd this and thought "Why the hell should we play in a bowl game where our fans will tune in and give ESPN mega ratings when they just fucked us over?" and are refusing to be cucked by Disney. And now ESPN is leading the charge that programs should be forced to play in a post-season exhibition game or be fined by the NCAA to try to force teams to do whatever they demand. Fuck them
The committee unfortunately played right into ESPN/SECs hands. I can't believe more of you don't see this for what it is.

That's exciting news.
Know what else would be exciting? A great big contract extension.
If the powers that be think it's optimal to compete with the shield, they will meet a deserved and fitting end at that point.
However, your point about eligibility years is a good one. If this becomes separated from academia that will absolutely be a point of contention. I think it would be in the best interest of college football to keep it at 4 (with 5th or 6th years being incorporated for redshirts, injuries, etc.).
PS I still think you can treat them as students, just let them major in football. It's career development in principal, so I don't see much of a difference. This will all get figured out with a super league that includes a CBA with the players.
Good data! I haven't watched Georgia in awhile, probably since either their games against Tennessee or Bama. What is it about them that gives everyone pause? Their defense seems pretty mediocre by UGA standards and not sure their d-line is what it usually is. Were they just beat up and now they're healthy? If the Buckeyes show up for three games I'm not sure there's a team that scares me. Biggest question I had was the OSU defense going up a legit offense and they answered that bell emphatically despite not even playing their A game. Now the biggest question I have is will the offensive coaching staff lose their fucking minds in certain situations like they did in the B1G championship. As poorly as the O played at times, they absolutely did enough to put up at least 24 points.I'll just put this in here instead of offense and defense threads. This is a mix of FEI data (tells us what teams have done) and CFB EPA data (tells us how teams do it). There is more to it but that's the high level.
OSU Bracket Matrix
Threat to OSU on each side of the ball
Team Their Defense vs OSU Offense Their Offense vs OSU Defense Total Threat Level Indiana Very High Moderate High Georgia Moderate Moderate Moderate Miami Moderate Low Moderate–Low Texas A&M Low Low Low Ole Miss Low Minimal Minimal Tulane Minimal Minimal Minimal Indiana
- Only team whose defensive architecture materially distorts OSU's offensive rhythm as we just saw.
- Offense is not elite; threat comes 75% from defense (13 points)
Georgia
- Balanced, top-10 in everything, but nothing that specifically attacks OSU’s structural weaknesses.
- Most “complete” opponent on this side.
Miami
- Defense good enough to slow OSU some, but OSU defense >Miami’s offense.
- Hard for Miami to get to 20 points in this game.
Texas A&M
- QB-run based run game gets shut down by OSU front.
- Defensive drive efficiency is not top-tier when opponent-adjusted.
- Can’t threaten OSU unless OSU self-inflicts.
Ole Miss
- Cannot defend OSU’s WR room or methodical structure.
- Offense gets erased by OSU D.
Tulane
Ha
We will be ~7 point favorite over TAMU/Miami
Probably ~-3 over UGA
My single biggest concern is playing in Glendale. Fuck that place.
Yep at least the ACC gives them Clemson and FSU the Big XII gives them what as far names? And basically none of their long-term rivals as well. Which the ACC has Boston College and PittNot a chance.![]()
Would it stay an NFL farm system? Or become an NFL competitor? If it is not associated with the NCAA, would there be a move away from the players being students? Why only four seasons? Why not 10?
From a player (and agent) standpoint, competition between PE and NFL owners for players would seem to raise player salaries significantly.
