They're going to find out that this lady went to Ball State, and Ball State is going to get punished worse than *ichigan ever will.

NCAA isn't going to investigate.

I'm 90% sure this is a way for them to deflect from the radio communications thing from becoming a real thing.

Having trouble reconciling the story that the school "investigated" this in the Summer, the staffer getting a huge 55% pay bump, and Warde still being employed.

The story about the school knowing clearly reeks of being a school planted story. And it lines up with there being August rumblings. The raise can only mean A. there was a cover up or B. the athletic department is one of the worst run organizations of any size in history. I can't buy the story of Warde having dirt enough to keep the board quiet. Far fetched even before accounting for his overall ineptitude. And dirt can't be related to any of the cheating they were doing - that cat is out of the bag with Sherrone on the lam now. Occum's Razor tells me this is general incompetence and hubris. That's the only way they don't see how much risk - reputational, financial, institutional, you name it - they are opening themselves up to my keeping Warde wmployed rather than throwing him under the bus.

Probably more likely is that they are waiting on lawyers to do their thing and this vote of confidence is worth as much as a coach saying 'I love it here' when asked if he is going to bail for a bigger job.

I mean, it’s not like they’d ever hire some heartless, soulless fucker that no one likes (even his own dad threw at him in a father/son softball game) who drove a woman to suicide by covering up her assault and killed a kid in a scissorlift…right? I mean can you imagine?

The first five Buckeyes (if they start at 125) need to set the tone for the next five (even in a loss). I believe if Stiles wins (I'm already counting Davino and Mendez) so does Cannon, Paddy and Kharch.

NCST should be looking to start anywhere but 125. If the don't they may only get bookend wins. The could give themselves a chance to win two in a row before they get to Davino.
