Its always funny when fanbases don't pay attention to coaches(and I've been guilty of it as well). Day will not be calling plays, this year will be similar to when Chip was in Cbus. Day will be hands off for the most part, that's why he hired Smith, he doesn't need to babysit him. And I don't see Smith being conservative. But it'll be fun watching Tejas fans figure that out in real time

I was at that game. It was only year 4 of the interminable death march that has been the clowns reanimation, so it was a more innocent time. There was more anger than resignation at that point. It's crazy that team would be one of the three clown shows that would actually make the playoffs. :lol:

There are currently on NFL and MLB teams that play in the same stadium. The era of the multi-purpose "cookie-cutter" stadium has officially ended in professional sports. Every single team in both leagues now plays in a venue designed specifically for their sport.

The Oakland Raiders and Oakland Athletics were the final NFL-MLB pair to share a stadium at the Oakland Coliseum. That arrangement dissolved when the Raiders relocated to Las Vegas in 2020.

Exactly. Coach Whittingham seems like a no bs coach and that roster probably isn't used to that especially when Moore was there. They probably aren't used to being accountable.

I agree with this, but do you think the game has or is passing him by or it's going to take a few years of recruiting classes to get his squad together? He is now coaching in the Big Ten which is a hell of lot different than Utah with higher expectations. Whittingham is a heck of a coach, but he took over a mess with probably the most overrated QB I have seen in while.
