This would be the second time a player dodged the transfer portal. Remember last year when the Wisconsin was able to keep a player out of the portal because he had signed a contract. So he just unenrolled from Wisconsin and enrolled at Miami.

NCAA said there is nothing improper and granted him immediate eligibility. They invalidated the transfer portal window.

I imagine at the end of spring we will see some players enroll at a new school and start playing immediately.
