If I were to pick one, and only if the butter fly effect of not having Cooper fired 3 seasons later, then its 1998 against Sparty for me.If you could change the outcome of one Ohio State football game in the Buckeyes' rich history, which game would you change the outcome and why?
1969 loss to Michigan? Which would have given Ohio State back-to-back national championships and mentioned as one of the greatest cfb teams ever?
2015 loss to Michigan State? Does that team go on to repeat as national champions?
1998 loss to Michigan State? Does that team go on to win the national championship and does Cooper get more credit?
2020 national championship game against Alabama?
2006 loss to Florida in the national championship game?
2007 loss to LSU for the national championship?
1976 Rose Bowl loss to UCLA that cost Woody a national championship?
1980 Rose Bowl loss to USC that cost Earle a national championship?
You get the idea, and there may be others that you would select. So which one game would you change the outcome?
You couldn't pay me to take even one sip of that slop. There's no telling what a chemical gangbang those are compared to 1986.
This.1998 MSU
Never have felt that kind of pain from football.
Don't give a fuck about Cooper or his legacy, he probably would have choked later but sweet Woody in heaven was that horrific.
And we all know how that game vs ND would’ve went.Bama would have been out in that old format. We would have played the Domers.
Bama would have been out in that old format. We would have played the Domers.Agreed with everything except 2012. I’m confident that 2012 gets absolutely waxed by Alabama.

1. I agree that they get smooshed by Bama.Wouldn’t they have been playing undefeated Notre Dame, though?
5.2 million in nil for basketball players might just make a difference though huh?Been to the Schott several times during the past several years. Both men's and women's basketball. I do have a bit of trouble with spending $5.2 million on a scoreboard, that to me, does all that it's supposed to do. OK, maybe it's not the shiniest apple in the B10 stable, but hey? Who gives a rip. Doubt seriously whether any recruit has stood on the floor, looks up, and say Not going here, the scoreboard is a mess.....maybe I'm wrong. PS, cannot some of these computer whiz bangs do some reprogramming to have it show whatever one believes is missing? I demand an audit of all Athletic Department budgets/funds/cash and contracts!
Well, certainly at this juncture the play-by-play meltdown some are having when the team is struggling is uncalled for, because we shouldn't have any expectations of success without Mobley. The roster wasn't great to start with, and without Mobley they clearly have an uphill battle to try and win against any opponent worth their salt. It's not 100% over, they could still have a glimmer of hope if the absence is a short one, but there's no need to hold your breath at this point. This season is cooked. The girls are having a great season as is wrestling. Baseball with a promising start as well. This is the apathy for men's hoops. I just can't give a shit anymore. Life is too short.
It's pretty obvious what they SHOULD do, invest enough NIL resources to help Diebler field a deeper, more talented team. I'm not saying they need to provide top-10 national resources, but they should absolutely be doubling the amount they're spending on the team this season, as they are clearly underfunding the product on the court & it shows. They badly need a legit big man, and have been inadequate in the post ever since Kaleb Wesson left, but haven't even seemed to come remotely close - what does that tell you?
