what was he charged with and what did he plead guilty to?
“I was told by the facilities director that the Big Ten made the call. And I partially agree with you - wind is part of playing outside but when items are flying and rolling around it can be unsafe. That match went on forever as well because of all the let calls with balls and other items rolling and flying onto other courts.”The wind is an equalizer for sure. Kinda strange to hear the conference made the call. Always thought the wind rule is up to both coaches and they have to both agree to either cancel, reschedule/postpone, move indoors or play in the wind, not the conference. BTW, the wind rule is soft.

In the early 1980s my friend got a low mileage 1966 Dodge Polara from his great aunt that had just been sitting around since her husband had died years before. Thing was about half a city block long but had a 383 and could still haul ass.I had a '67 Ford Galaxy 500. We bought from some old people who couldn't drive anymore. Low mileage, cherry condition, baby blue. It was a beast. Wish I had a picture of it. It did look like an old person car though, not cool at the time.
I think one of the big blessings of being an early Gen Xer is when we were old enough to drive the country had a great inventory of what turned out to be classic cars and we got them cheap. My buddy had a Dodge Coronet, forget which year. The cars built back then were almost all V8s and they could go 100+ MPH very easily.

Yeah, but did you get one of the USPS’s surplus ones with no front passenger seat like a real baller? My car is missing from that photo too. In high school I drove a Vette.
Chevette.
the boy and I are trying to plan a trip out that way before he gets called up. we have friends in the area, so just gas, food and tickets, seems worth it to meKid’s starting the year here in Indy. Not sure I’ll brave the weather to make it this weekend but hopefully get to see him before he gets the call.
I take it as the general acceptance of the lack of holding people accountable that permeates our society at the highest levels. What does the country have to do with a state statute? 15-60 years for the same crime in TN, for example. On the other hand, probably would have received next to nothing in Montana.
2 innings for Burns yesterday. 12 all spring. I'd love for someone in modern baseball to explain to me how pitching so few innings gets you ready to pitch a lot in the regular season (these new pitching regimens certainly haven't lessened pitcher injuries. if anything it seems like there more pitching injuries than ever)
Probably last timeFirst time?

Agreed. Federal crimes are typically exponentially more punitive than state crimes.Let’s see what Marcus Williamson gets for stealing $22k from the banks. Bet it’s more than this.
