WR Santonio Holmes (All B1G, National Champion, Super Bowl Champion, Super Bowl XLIII MVP)

Me or Tyson? (Never a question I thought I'd find myself asking, but either feels realistic in this case).

That was one of the funnier things I ever heard him say.

He was trying to say "fade into oblivion" but Mike being the man of letters that he is, he turned it into a geography mind fuck.

Cleveland Guardians (2025 Season Thread)

Rotation has really picked it up lately, they've actually been pretty fire the last 15+ games. I think their ERA is below 2.50 in that stretch.

I just hated some of the bullpen decisions....to start the season with McKenzie and Cantillo in the pen made no sense. Two starters...I get McKenzie, squeeze what you can out of him, but why Joey? I'm still not too worried about the pen knowing that we have Trevor Stephan back hopefully before the ASB, Andrew Walters who 100% should be up again, and guys like Nic Enright and Franco Aleman who just came back from injuries. Clase also seems to have settled back down.

@billmac91 - I disagree on Cleveland GMs. Koby Altman has done a great job, and so has the Guardians FO. They routinely make the most out of very limited assets and balance short and long term quite well.

The only thing I wish is they'd be more aggressive with their positional talent....Nolan Jones, Will Brennan, Noel, etc. are not MLB OFs. Get CJ Kayfus up here, be aggressive with Chase DeLauter when he's back, stop dinking around with these AAAA OF's.

You can question some of the decisions they made in the bullpen, that's fair. But in the end for the most part everyone who returned has taken quite a step back, Gaddis is the only one who's maintained form so far.

Paul Sewald was a bad signing, he was awful before getting hurt and it's not shocking, he was not good with Arizona last year and he's aging.

The starting rotation is meh and the bullpen has sunk to below average

Even if the offense found some fire it's still a big uphill battle right now.

2025 scUM Shenanigans, Arguments, etc.

They have already been doing that since all of this started.

Everyone was just jealous of Harbaugh and unfairly attacking him, the establishment is witch hunting and wants to keep Michigan down for some reason yadda yadda yadda
It wasn't jealousy.

It was the system, much like the Matrix and Neo, felt threatened by Harbaugh speaking out in favor of paying players. The ncaa was under attack so they're going in dry on Harbaugh to teach all the other coaches a lesson about what happens when you try to tear down the system in favor of players. Because Harbaugh is the only one who's ever done that.

I've been relaxing for 18 months.
The NCAA made up their minds within a week when Cam Newton was in trouble.
The NCAA made up their minds within 8 months when Ohio State was in trouble.
The NCAA made up their minds within 8 months when Penn State was in trouble.
C'mon, NCAA. Chip chop chip.

(Then they later decided they did the Penn State thing wrong, so they reversed themselves.)
Alright, fine, I'll relax.. but this better be worth it.
You illustrated the difference between cooperation and non-cooperation pretty well...

When walking into the building I work in, I sometimes mutter under my breath "Welcome to North South East West Central Shitfuckistan", so, based on that, I would say yes.

The main thing I remember about Central State is that they gave an honorary doctorate to Mike Tyson, who when he accepted it, in his tee hee child-like voice said something like: "Now that I'm a doctor, I wonder what kind of doctor I'll be? Maybe a gynecologist."

Before he fades off into Boliva

Game Thread Texas at tOSU, Sat. Aug. 30th, 12pm ET, FOX

This is...interesting. Not sure why the hell Texas would have any say here?

If the game does get moved, the FOX lackey's in here are gonna be in shambles :slappy:

I haven’t really been part of this discussion, but it seems to me that it’s been a disagreement between people unhappy with the number of noon kickoffs and people who are unbothered by it. From my perspective, calling them Fox lackeys is intellectually dishonest at best
Agreed. There are some here who want it moved to a later time, and others who say that the complaints aren't going to be heard by anyone who cares. I don't know of any "lackeys".
I also don't know of anyone who would be in "shambles" if it gets moved.
Also also, I'm not sure why Texas would have any say. Also also also, I don't know why Ohio State would have any say.
Whatever...
