2026 Winter Olympics (Milan - Cortina, Feb 6-20)

Here are the scoring stats for all the Buckeyes.

Bilka (USA) 4 goals-3 assists-7 points (5th overall)
Svennson (Sweden) 1-6-7 (10th overall) (#member of current Buckeye team)
Dunne (USA) 2-3-5 (18th) (#)
Raunio (SWE) 0-4-4 (32nd) (#)
Jacques (CAN) 0-3-3 46th
Jungaker (SWE) 0-2-2 (51st) (#)
Vanhanen (FINLAND) 1-1-2 (53rd) (#)
Maltais (CAN) 0-2-2 68th
Barnes (USA) 1-0-0 (88th)
Gardiner (CAN) 1-0-0 (88th)
Spooner (CAN) 1-0-0 (88th)

All the Buckeyes scored at least one point totaling 11 goals-23 assists-34 total points.

Dunne at 20 was the youngest player on the US team. We get her for next year too. After that, I think she's headed to legend status for team USA.

Cleveland Cavs (2016 NBA Champions)

Hunter is done for the season. Who knows status of Garland. I don't like trades but the window of going for it is narrow
Good timing then. We're still getting an All Star and a starter back soon so going on a tear from here out is possible. Tomorrow vs OKC will be very interesting

Edit: goddamn phones and auto correct

Cincinnati got a huge road win at Kansas. Big man Thiam had a monster game. They also have a win over Iowa State. Now they've won 4 straight to get to 15-12 - if they keep winning down the stretch, they will find themselves on the bubble soon.
About 2 hours earlier Kansas was giving a #3 seed #10 overall. So much for that!

The Ohio State Baseball (Official Thread)

I'm hoping that first LT game was a blip on this season's radar with the limited hits (4) and runs (0). They seem to be a group with a great balance so far with enough power to go with a load team speed. The best thing I've seen do far is the serious change in fielding and I think only 1 error?

La Tech is a reasonably good mid level conference team, wasn't really expecting to beat them both times but it would be nice to beat them once. Regardless if they beat Memphis again id consider this weekend a success, id hope this year they can beat the greater majority of teams that they should and Memphis is definitely in that category.

Hell of a bounceback effort after dropping game 1.

Miami (OH) Redhawks (Basketball Official Thread)

From what little am able to see, Miami (O) is still undefeated in mens bball. Wonder if they/we'll get an 11th seed out of it? Maybe Wally Szerbiak (sp?) has a little eligibility in him?
They should prefer the 11 or 12 seed over getting a 9 seed for sure the goal would be make Sweet 16 not just win 1 game.

Right now they project around an 11 seed.

If they go unbeaten in the regular season then lose in the MAC tournament they have to get a bid despite 0 quad 1 wins and only 1 quad 2 win.

You can't go 32-1 or 33-1 and not get a bid even with the weakest schedule ever.

Now if they go 32-2 with a loss in the MAC tournament final ? I would say still in but who knows.

'26 OH SF Anthony Thompson is a Buckeye!!!

Royal, for me at least, has been having a great season. His overall play, mostly on the inside, has been jaw-dropping. When he tees it up for a 3, that's just a bonus (when they hit net), and watching him sky for a rebound is wonderful. Mobley, is streaky. In a good way, methinks. But most teams put a taller, long armed guy on him, and his %age made goes down. Bynum is young, and starting to play within himself, but believe his future is at the 4, so needs to learn some 'back-to-the-basket' moves, a la a center, to go with his face-up skills. Pretty certain it will come, and he has some good hops. Agree with you on a PG, don't believe Cupps is the answer, but Thornton's don't grow on trees. Go Bucks!
