Bestbuck, not entirely certain he's 'lost' this team. tOSU women are talented, but not THAT talented. McDuff's press is working, but certainly not the level of Jacy et al. Jalone is a treasure, simply put. Elsa is maturing in her play, and Kennedy has shown great talent. The other two guards, certainly can chip in the 3-pointers, and do. Don't believe Kitt has fully recovered, her feet aren't as quick, and her 'nose for the ball' is missing. Haven't seen Hobbs in a while, more as a breather for Elsa. Gotta admit, when stats came out, was surprised that tOSU had a 15-0 run to put the game away.....guessed was napping during that. Great win, and while not glad the USC player (Ju Ju?) was out, because then USC would have killed the Buckeyes. So, say what you will about McDuff, the Buckeyes don't come back like that unless they're being led. Jaloni seems to be a leader by actions, rather than one who chats up the players. Maybe Katie is providing some of the coaching?

Just sharing as baseball is one of those NCAA sports where the "smaller" schools can still field extremely capable teams. Now, if the Golden Flashes can only do the same on the football field (who am I kidding).

I'm not a hockey fan, by any stretch of the definition. I know most of the rules. Maybe some strategy (like, try to get the puck in the goal). But what I saw of this game (a little of the second, most of the third), Canada was the better team. By far. When USA had the puck, Canada was all over the guy. When Canada had the puck, they were taking shots with no one within 10 feet. If they keep a stat for time of possession, Canada has that 2-1, I'd guess. Or, time of possession in the other team's side, that's also 2-1.
