High School Ohio High School Football General Discussion

game 1 tomorrow night, sons team isn't returning many starters this year (last years team went 2 weeks into the playoffs) - defense looks pretty damn good (from the 2 scrimmages I saw) - the offense looks like the run game can be good, but the OL is the weak spot for sure. my boy made the shift to middle line backer this season, really looking forward to watching him go hit someone!

You had to go back 9 years to come up with 5 of *ichigan's hijinks.

Plus, you included the mascot writing Script "Ohio" in the snow? That's not a hijink - the team has no control over the mascot. Yeah, they can probably suspend him if he's breaking rules, but no one on the team approves what the mascot does. Plus, it was writing in snow. That'd be like getting arrested for vandalism if you "write your name in the snow".

Plus plus, tearing down the banner - I don't know if *ichigan does that for every game, but that's really lame that they do that. That's like Ohio State cheerleaders surrounding the visiting team and running out with the "O", "H", "I", and "O" banners as the visiting team comes out. They don't want to celebrate anything Ohio State and non-*ichigan teams don't want to celebrate any "M" logos.

Plus plus plus, that one you listed for *ichigan and starting brawls in the hallway, you forgot about the part where they bitch and whine that the other team should be charged with assault afterward.

Brief synopsis:
started at Welliston HS as a frosh, got recruited to IMG, now on his 3rd HS at The Villages Charter. The story doesn't sound too crazy, when he got recruited to IMG, but I'm sure got some type of homesick, and transferred closer to home at The Villages. He missed his Junior year with an injury
He's now grown from 5'11 185lbs as a Soph to a 6'1 205lbs Senior, and hasn't lost any speed.
He said that UNC and OSU are recruiting him the hardest, and the Lock calls him everyday.

If he continues how he played in game 1, expect a massive ranking increase. And at that point watch the offers come rolling in, but hopefully that doesn't sway him if OSU wants him
