President Donald Trump awarded the Medal of Honor to three soldiers Monday, recognizing a service member from World War II, Vietnam and Afghanistan, respectively.

Ohio State Women's Basketball (2023-24 B1G CHAMPS)

McGuff better improve in the recruiting category asap. Missed out on the#1 player in eve country and her teammate, both from the Spire Academy, here in Ohio for 2026 and ended up I think 10th, I be the B1G overall. That's pathetic.

If he misses out on Juni Mobleys sister at Big Walnut, I'm not going to be quiet about it.

The girls could do a lot to keep his seat chilly by showing our in the B1G and national tournaments as well as portal additions.

Ohio State Wrestling (2015/2017/2018 B1G Champs, 2015 National Champs, 2019 National Runners-up)

Not considering OKST believes he can win it this year...
I totally agree with you on that. There is no question Okie State believes he can win it all this year. My observation is more along the lines with what is the point of it other than Jax’s personal goal of winning an individual title? For instance, were they initially redshirting him to get acclimated to the college world (he should be finishing up his senior year of high school), and to save him to contend for a team title next year? But maybe they have heard through the grape vine that this 5 years to wrestle rule is a done deal, and that he’ll get an additional 4 years regardless after this year? I understand that this is as much of an individual sport as it a team sport, so I am wondering if Okie State just decided to let him fly knowing they will have 5 years of him wrestling vs waiting a year to where their studs round into shape and could potentially be competing for a team title too. I have no idea, just spit balling.

To that point, and if this ruling does come down, Mendez would have a case for a 5th year. He should get it too imo.

Going back and comparing Auburn to Miami, I don't think either one should be in as an at-large, unless Auburn makes a run to the SEC title game. Auburn has already lost 14 games and they need to win a lot more to make up for that. Obviously Joe Lunardi feels Miami is the better choice.

PG Bruce Thornton (All-B1G, All-American, 4X Captain, tOSU all time scoring leader)

The Dispatch had a nice article interviewing Dennis Hopson, who's turning 61(!) this year, on Bruce approaching his scoring record. Hopson plans to attend the IU game to (hopefully) congratulate Bruce in person.

A school like Miami will not be able to participate in top nonconference tournaments along the same lines as a high major program; however, some of the tournaments that aren't as prominent do have mid- and low-major schools playing. Now, that's not necessarily going to change their strength of schedule a lot, but they could pick and choose one that has a little bit stronger mid-majors.

I don't fault Miami for nonconference tournaments as much as the fact that they didn't play any guarantee games. You're a MAC school, you play guarantee games. That's how it is. The MAC is rated the 17th-best conference per KenPom. MAC programs aren't even mid-majors, they're low-majors. You play high majors on the road when you're a low-major. Mid-majors can get away with not playing the big boys on the road, but even they sometimes choose to do it.

Yep. Miami and Akron are respectable this year but after that it falls off a cliff big time.

2027 SC DB Joshua Dobson (Verbal Offer)

Lane Kiffin and the LSU Tigers predicted to land elite 5-star recruit over some of college football’s top programs

The LSU Tigers may be on the verge of getting some good recruiting news.

Lane Kiffin and the LSU Tigers may be on the verge of winning a huge recruiting battle.

On3’s Steve Wiltfong, Adam Gorney, Sam Spiegelman, and Chad Simmons all predicted this week that LSU will land 2027 five-star cornerback Joshua Dobson.

“Dobson is one of the best cornerbacks in the class and the development at LSU over the years has stood out so much, along with his relationship with Corey Raymond,” noted Gorney.

Akron played a road game at Purdue this season. They also got in a mid-major nonconference tournament, the Paradise Jam, which used to be a place a lot of high majors played. So clearly they challenged themselves more in nonconference play. If I were Miami, I would be really scared of missing the tournament, because it should just take one loss to Akron in the MAC tourney & they're out.
