Or he has realized he can no longer blow smoke up everyone's backsides about TCUN without losing the final bits of credibility he has. Stopped watching him two years ago and feel that I have missed nothing.

TenneCheat VolunTears (official thread)

And that's NIL in a nutshell. Gotta be nearly impossible to keep everyone happy, duh. Overpay for one guy/position, and the others say "what about me" (Am I chopped liver?) And what about the 2-3 year players at the position, that have put in the time/work, and make a fraction of what the new guy is getting? Not saying anything original, although believe that tOSU's philosophy will work on the deep thinkers, rather than the 'I want it now' type of guy. The 'extras' for family members appears to have expanded beyond a house for parents, and/or a nice job in C'bus for the family.

2027 CA QB Brady Edmunds is a Buckeye!!!

Maybe the only difference between Brady's 'ho-hum' announcement and DGG's non-commit, is that there are QBs aplenty on the radar, and zero RBs. Maybe it's that the maturation process for a QB is longer, and with a RB, it's 'just add water', and put them on the field. Really don't know. As most of the posters have opined, it's easier to get a RB than a QB. Candidly, if DGG would have signed on, two or three of current RBs would probably have skedaddled into the portal. This is getting to be comparing apples to oranges.

2027 tOSU Recruiting Discussion

Even w/o DGG, the RBs will be very young. Feisty certainly, and a true soph that ran for 1000+ yards right out of the gate? I see three back-ups that appear to be talented as well, and all wanting on the field. Good place to be. Only thing missing is that battle-tested 'gotta get this first down' attitude that has been proven. Would imagine that the RB coach(s) have shown film of previous tOSU great RBs, in order to instill in current RBs 'how it's done'. We'll see how they react when they get smashed by a DL, and whether they get up, huddle up, and run right at that DL guy once more. All of this will help prove their worth to the Buckeye fortunes on the field. My hunch is that there are three of the four that will exhibit these winning traits. Just a hunch, nothing solid behind it.

Vanderbilt Commodores (official thread)

Ravens waive rookie Diego Pavia to make room for Ethan Pocic

Throughout the predraft process, there were questions about Pavia's age (24), lack of height (5-foot-10) and decision-making off the field. After finishing runner-up to Heisman winner Fernando Mendoza in December, Pavia posted a photo on Instagram with the caption "F- ALL THE VOTERS" along with a thumbs-down emoji on social media. He later apologized.

Just sayin': :sarcastic:...Class act...:sarcastic: Pavia probably should have finished 4th behind Love and Sayin. If anybody had a legitimate beef with the Heisman voting it would have been Mendoza (i.e. with the 273 voters that didn't vote him #1). His season rivaled that of Joe Burrow in 2019.
