2026 tOSU Offense Discussion

I think that is why we saw what we saw in filling the OC and additional OL coach roll. They are keenly aware — or minimally strongly believe — the issue was coaching and not players. We would have seen more OL at least make visits if they thought the issue was really the kids.
Ehhh blaming the coaching only goes so far. At some point the kids gotta execute.

2026 tOSU Offense Discussion

Still won't stop the stupid narrative that Day was the issue...

Offensive line play HAS to improve against athletic fronts this next season.

2025-2026 Ohio State Men's Basketball

What are the Ohio men’s odds in to win the Big Ten and NCAA Tournaments?

.
.
continued
.
.
Now, the team will open the Big Ten Tournament as the No. 8 seed, meaning that they will receive a double-bye and face No. 17 Maryland, No. 16 Oregon, or No. 9 Iowa on Thursday. So, before the Buckeyes get back on the court, we are checking in with our friends at FanDuel to see where OSU stands in terms of their postseason odds.

Big Ten Tournament odds

Before action gets underway in the Windy City this week, Ohio State currently sits as the ninth most likely team to take home the conference title. Despite being a better seed than Iowa, the Hawkeyes have the eighth-best odds at +5000, while OSU is at +7500.
The Michigan Wolverines have the best odds in the conference at -105, with Illinois next, considerably further behind, at +460.

Final Four odds

At this point, I think that all of Buckeye Nation can feel pretty confident in OSU’s potential to make the Big Dance. Of course, anything can happen, but it would be a shock of monumental proportions if they were left out of the tournament field.
So, I don’t feel like I am jinxing anything by looking at any of their March Madness odds. So, let’s start with the Buckeyes’ chances to make the Final Four. Currently, they have the 41st-best odds, tied with Auburn, at +12500.
The Big Ten teams ahead of them are Michigan (-170), Illinois (+340), Purdue (+500), Michigan State (+1100), Nebraska (+2000), Wisconsin (+3500), Iowa (+4500), and UCLA (+8000).

National championship odds

The national championship outlook is very similar to that of the Final Four. The Buckeyes are tied with McNeese with the 40th-best shot to cut down the nets at +50000. That is a veeeeeeeery long shot, but even a $1 bet would bring in a $5,000 profit if Bruce Thornton and company go on the greatest run in tournament history. While it is essentially setting a dollar bill on fire, I can think of worse ways to waste a buck.
Unsurprisingly (and annoyingly), Michigan has the best odds in the country at +340, followed by Duke at +360, Arizona at +550, then Florida (+700) and Houston (+1000).
