Terrelle Pryor’s case against Ohio State, NCAA and Big Ten dismissed by judge​

Terrelle Pryor’s lawsuit against Ohio State, the NCAA and the Big Ten over denied name, image and likeness compensation was dismissed Friday.

A judge ruled OSU was covered by "sovereign immunity." Pryor’s claims were deemed to be outside the four-year statute of limitations for an antitrust lawsuit.

Much of his case centered around the money he would have made as one of the biggest names in college football during his time in Columbus.

Pryor, a former quarterback for the Buckeyes (2008-10), was the Big Ten Freshman of the Year in 2008.

Before July 2021, collegiate athletes could not profit off their name, image and likeness.

Internally, this source says that UM is preparing for-

- "Record-correcting" rear facing sanctions

- A 2-year postseason ban

- Recruiting restrictions

- A 6 to as many as 12 game suspension and show-cause penalty for Moore

- Fines and other administrative penalties (trainings, enhanced monitoring, etc).

That's been 22 years. Holy shite.

I'll be very impressed if he's successful playing WR and DE in college. I would think optimizing for one would significantly reduce effectiveness at the other. It would be really cool to see him be successful, though.
