TN RB David Gabriel Georges (Tennessee Verbal)

FIFY. Nobody that went to school or has anything better but claim to be fans while being the worst of the community.
That's naive to think the bad fans are only ones who didn't go to the school. There are bad fans who will tweet nonsense at recruits who went to Ohio State as well.

I can see OSU stepping back and trying to flip Jayden Miles, and if that doesn't work, then reassessing the class at the end or towards the end of the HS season. OSU has 6 RBs on schollie, so RB isn't a NEED, but if/when he chooses Tenn on Wednesday, just expect a meltdown by a number of OSU LOSERS, and Tenn fans wanting to rub it in our faces. But tbh, they are desperate. OSU in 2027 can still have a rotation of: Jackson, West, Bey/Rogers and be a top 5 RB room in the country. In 2028, OSU could have a rotation of: West, Bey, Rogers, Akih and be fine. And I'm not even including Lock finding a transfer in each of the following seasons.

I hope DGG chooses OSU, but in the end, the program will be fine with or without him. I can remember guys like Bijan Robinson, Richard Young, and CJ Baxter being big misses at RB in their time, yet OSU was fine. And they'll be fine in this case too

Full disclosure. We don’t really know anything yet. The hype gets the headlines especially when it’s an SECSECSEC school. Stay in your shoes, especially since this won’t remotely cripple Ohio State….

It's not "known known for sure" but we've seen how Tennessee will pretty much go over the top and do anything to get a single recruit they have zeroed in on. Desperate programs do desperate program things and there's no need for Ohio State to play that game.

RB was probably more of a real "need" for next year's class. And we already have Elijah Newman-Hall, who is a stud, on board.

2028 OH WR Lorenzo McMullen Jr. (Verbal Offer)

The days of the "hometown discount" are over. OSU has stated they will pay big money for 1 WR, NOT 2, and it doesn't matter where you're from. OSU in 2028 got their #1 WR in Harrison, so they don't care if they miss out on McMullen, and they're not getting into a bidding war. The only way that would change is if Harrison were to decommit. And idk if anyone wants that to happen

2026 scUM Shenanigans, Arguments, Arrogant Twatwaffles, Emasculated Cucks, Feckless Marmots, Dirty Cheaters "Mid"chigan

scUM firing them would basically be them admitting wrongdoing occurred. It's the easy copout in the world "They are stepping down on their own accord to pursue other opportunities!" nothing to see here!

Is McMiullen Jr. not even being looked at by OSU? 5 star composite on 247 from OH?

He is. Per a few guys in this thread, we have a ways to go on both sides.

Camped this summer. Got an offer, but down the board. OSU *could* land him, but seems likely that other schools (LSU, ND) will value him more than OSU and give him higher financial offers.

These individuals involved all get to decide their own future.

None of them were terminated for what they did. Each of them have got to leave on their terms.

yepp my feel too. let tenn completely overpay. OSU will be fine

RB is definitely a position I would never get into "historic" level bidding wars for.

This isn't going to hurt Ohio State and at the same time it isn't going to vault Tennessee into the "legit title contender" category.

To do otherwise would put into question their foundational belief in their purity and superiority. That is literally the core institutional DNA of the place. At Ped State, it centered around one individual, so there is a chance that the place can become somewhat normal as the "Paterno People" increasingly die off. At tsun, the object of cult deification is the school itself, so there's very little chance that they can de-ass their heads.

Michigan AD out after disgraceful tenure comes to an end

For Ohio State fans, this is some good news.

How Warde Manuel being ousted affects Ohio State
With Manuel gone, the Buckeyes will likely maintain supremacy in the best rivalry in sports over TTUN. Kyle Whittingham is a stop-gap coach who won't be there for the long-term. Ohio State is too good, and their culture is too strong for them to lose too many games to TTUN.

The Buckeyes are happy with what they have been able to do with their athletics. With Manuel ousted, they no longer have to worry about cheating being rampant throughout the athletic department. That's especially true in the football program. The Buckeyes have to be pleased with that.

This issue for TTUN is one that will continue to follow them until Manuel actually is gone at the end of 2026. He gave TTUN a lot of success on the playing field because he was willing to overlook the rules. That issue is something that Michigan looks like they want to fix finally.

Ohio State, on the other hand, will continue to do things above board. Ross Bjork might have some issues, but at least he's ethical.
