S/C Coach Mickey Marotti (National Champion)

This is from the recruiting thread

If this wasn’t because he was sick or he was like 280 then wtf is the S&C team doing

If he dropped 20 lbs it would have been fat. When I was a freshman, I came in around 290 and fattened up to 315 by spring ball, thinking weight would help me. It didn't. I was better off later in my career at 305 after I had time to add good weight. If CJ was 250 and lost 20 lbs of chunk it would make him quicker, but just as powerful. If he had any issue, it was that he didn't get his pads low enough on short yardage and let players get under him, like when he got stuffed by the safety against OU.

2026 tOSU Offense Discussion

An underrated reasoning for picking up the pace a bit that I heard from Bill Landis (who seems to be in lockstep with how I see it)… with a big reduction in reps our guys could use these reps for development. That without the extra reps we are really doing ourselves a disservice with getting guys experience.

Anyway back to offense- what will be intriguing is what we do along the OL. I’d really like to see Austin moved back to RG and I think with Moore at LT we can do that.
I think I’ve talked to this in multiple threads, but yes this is an issue for all units. Close games usually mean lack of time for subs to get playing time and experience. I see this as a Day issue as it has been that way since he took over as HC.

Who knows how much this impacts guys transferring as well. No one wants to constantly bust their ass in practice and stand there and watch.

2025-2026 Ohio State Men's Basketball

In our last three losses we have scored 2 points off the bench - total.

That is in a total of 101 bench minutes played. That equates to 5 players playing an entire half of basketball.

Our opponents have scored 52.

Anyone else see this as a problem?
And here I thought it was the lack of a fast start, rebounding, and falling behind by double digits.

But yeah, that’s not good.

I love how Lou has been relentless on his attack on ND and their fans.

He's been shockingly consistent of his hatred of them. Not because he disagrees with the mission of the University or the academics...etc
Because they simply refuse to join a conference.

What really matters.....

My girlfriend is currently on her way to the hospital in Jackson. The EMT ruled out a heart attack, but we'll see what's going on there.

glad everything seems to be OK, but from personal experience, I can promise you that an EMT can not rule out a heart attack.

when I had my heart attack, pretty much everything looked "normal". Blood Pressure, heart rate, even the EKG all looked right.
everything looked normal enough that hospital was in the process of preparing me to leave with a "panic attack" type diagnosis.

then my blood work came back and the cardiologist told me I was having a heart attack and had to have an emergency angioplasty to clean out some blockages.

I don't remember which protein it is in the blood work, but that protein spiking is what signaled that it was a heart attack.

without that blood work, you can't rule it out.
