Stammen has at least been a decent situational reliever in Washington. Same can be said of Tommy Hunter I guess.

As far as Quiroz goes, what part of the 10 year career that only includes 380 total at bats at a .199 clip with 3 career homers and 1 career SB doesn't impress you? Christ, couldn't we have let Jocketty overpay the guy?

I look at this way, as long as we need less than 38 AB's out of him... it probably doesn't matter.

Oh no! They've lost a career minor leaguer who started the grand total of 50 games for the Tribe last year. I thought the best part was that Hoynsie quoted the new GM as not knowing whether Abe could play in Spring Training games... Even the Bad News Bears knew the rules.
