Cleveland announced today that its star outfielder had shoulder surgery, and he won't return to game activity for 5-6 months. Brantley led MLB in doubles (45) last season and finished fourth in the American League in batting average (.310).

ESPN’s Buster Olney gave some insight into the Cleveland Indians offseason plans during aFacebook Q&A on Thursday afternoon. In it, he stated that the Indians would "love" to sign third baseman Juan Uribe, and they have also considered first baseman/designated hitter Justin Morneau

3B could use an upgrade, but Uribe is going to be 37 this year and probably isn't better then what we have at this point.

You can tell your team is cheap when fucking Juan Uribe is your "Top Free Agent Target"
