And as for where the real dollars are, compare research, fundraising and endowment figures between the Big Ten and SEC. Football is a drop in the bucket. It pays for some non-revenue sports but very little beyond that.

I'd disband the football program before I let Ohio State turn into the majority of SEC schools.

I think we both know that football and academics are barely related, as it applies to this level.

I don't want to become Harvard, Yale or the other Ivy League Schools.

Stanford is the ONLY school I can think of that is a true academic/athletic powerhouse. All the rest are meh.

After taking into account more scholarship reductions and a bowl ban (which includes no B10 Championship Game). I have to say there is ONE positive here....



Our whole season rest on the THE Game at the end of the year.



Who knows what they will be playing for, but one thing is for sure....we will be playing to absolutely DESTROY them (not that we don't every year).

I'm pissed at the bowl ban (neither here nor there about the scholarships). I think we got jobbed, and I think the ncaa is full of shit. I'm just not willing to make the jump from there to saying fuck it, let's go SEC 'cause they win championships and get away with it.

Here's a thought: Don't break the fucking rules, and then there's nothing for you to report or for them to find.

North Carolina AD - Fired
USC AD - Fired
Boise State AD - Fired

Miami and OSU somehow kept the AD. Really helped OSU.

Wish Ohio State produced Nike products (Oregon). Maybe that would help with any NCAA violations.

We'll just have to agree to disagree. I want Ohio State to be the kind of organization that shits on organizations like the NCAA.

That would be extremely bad. We should have self imposed a bowl ban this year, even though they would have given us one next year too. At least it would make them (the NCAA) look more douchy when they let Miami skate.
