WR Verlon Reed (transfer to Findlay)

With all the positive reviews, I am excited about getting Verlon, especially if he can add some needed depth at QB if need be. Welcome aboard and I can't wait to see some film. :osu:

Nice arm, at least from that Brookhaven game. Good release, steps into the throw, put some heat on when it was needed and put some touch on one of those long balls.

Of course highlight films only show the good reps, but the kid definitely has some tools.

He actually looks taller than the 6'2" listed. Regardless looks like a heckuva athlete - reminds me of TP a bit with the long strides.

Welcome home big fella!

The most recent numbers on him are 6'3" just over 200lb's.

I can't remember where I read it, or whether or not it's credible, but sounds about right to me.

Film reminds me a bit of Jacory Harris. Good pocket presence, avoids pressure while keeping his eyes downfield, deceptive speed, steps into his throws, and squares his shoulders to the target. I like this pickup.

Agree 100% with this. Just have to see how his arm is compared to Harris. Great pickup! :osu:
