WR Ted Ginn, Jr. (Official Thread)

over/under stands at 7. We did it to a hot K State team last year.

WangHole where you at man?? You just got served. I realize it must hurt to see your team punt more in its final game than it did in any other game all season, but that's what we do against Big 12 teams.

How dare you take the under on a real Ohio State board.

I honestly can not recall a time this year we have punted the ball out of bounds, and that includes trying to pin them against the the goal line (with Cole's accuracy and our guys' speed, we just get the guys down there to down the ball).

IIRC....aww fuck it. It's not worth it.

Fucking pussies.

How many times did they end up punting? Ted Ginn thinks endzone every time he touches the ball. It is amazing to watch. I've never seen a 2 yard loss that is more exciting. And I loved seeing Zwick and Hamby deliver the 2 bone crushing blocks in the same play.

I give Okie State credit...they are a really good football team. It's not their fault that Ohio State is played as good as a top 10 team after midseason. tOSU's rushing defense is sick!

Well Buckeyes, I'll take my crow. I just got back from the Alamodome and here I am. Ginn is good, darn good. I never doubted that from the git go. And yeah, he only fielded one punt, for 7 yards, his lowest average of the year maybe? He COULD have fielded a 2nd for a small gain but chose not to. I'm abit shocked about our first two punts, especially after what Coach said going into the game. They were atypical for our team and atypical for Farden.

Ginn would be at the top of my ballot for next year for sure. But I never doubted he was a good player.

OK State did have some team speed. Three or four times tonight I thought that TGII was gone but some defender had the correct angle on him. Of course, several times it was 20 yards downfield or people maintaining their lanes so a lot of credit goes to the coaching staff for finally teaching how fast TGII really is.

That said guys, Okla State did a fine job on punts tonight, excepting the one they sent out of bounds early for 17 yards. They limited that aspect of our game very nicely.

Ginn proved he is a fabulously exciting player, but WangHo was right as well about their punt coverage team. They did a solid job. So let's leave it at everyone being right. :)
