WR Michael "Cantguardmike" Thomas (B1G Champion, National Champion, Pro Bowl, All-Pro, 2019 OPOY)

That said, this group of receivers blocks better downfield than any other I remember. The success of the running game hasn't been all O-line, Hyde, and Brax alone.

Jordan Hall looked like an All Big Ten back in the first 3 games (836yds, 8TDs). Some of that is on the WRs blocking. But, let's give credit where it's obviously due. The offensive line paved the way for not only Hall but Hyde and Brax running the ball. They have been mostly dominate.
And receiving, the WRs have consistently failed in crucial times to get open. They have failed in one of their prime jobs. So we see the frustration in Thomas.

While this is a testament to his physical abilities.... Lets hope he puts as much time into his route running and learning the playbook. Plenty of other guys have passed through schools over the years with all the physical talent in the world.... means nothing if you can't put it together enough to have the coaches put you on the field.... Besides isn't he Meshawns nephew?

No question that 2013's O-line was the best in recent memory but I was talking about downfield second and third level blocking by the receivers. Obviously, they weren't doing the initial blocking but there were several touchdowns and multiple big gains created by receivers holding or throwing additional blocks.
