The fast-rising Robiskie (6-2?, 195) set the tone early against the Nittany Lions, displaying excellent natural pass receiving skills to go along with terrific body control. Over the first two months of the season no player at wide receiver has seen his stock improve as much as Robiskie. The more I watch him, the more I really like his chances for future success in the NFL.

I must have watched his catch (that was challenged) from each angle a dozen times, and I still don't see where they got the glaring evidence to overturn that catch. Not a TD, but I think it shouldn't have been overturned. One of the best he's made this year.

Ah well, we got the TD anyway.

What a stud this guy is... thanks to Pops Robiskie for great coaching throughout all of these years (and the genes). One of the all-time greats here at tOSU by the time it is all said and done!

I agree. The only thing that could have possible swayed the ref was that when Robo stood up, the ball wasn't in his hands. Of course you can't see on the replay when the ball came loose.

Around the roster today ... :p

Kiper on Robiskie from today's ESPN chat:
Keith, Tuscaloosa, AL: Who are tre top 5 wide receivers in this years class & who are the first rounders?

Mel Kiper: There aren't a lot. There aren't a lot of seniors. Lavelle Hawkins from Cal has emerged as a late 1, early 2. Limas Sweed, who's now injured, will probably be the first WR off the board. He could have been a top 15 pick. Early Doucet, I thought would have been a top 15 pick, but he's been hurt most of the year. DJ Hall would be a late 1, early 2. Now, from the junior class, DeSean Jackson would move ahead of them all, if he came out. Robiskie and Bennett are also in the mix. It's still to be determined. If I had to rank them, Jackson, Hawkins, Sweed, Kelly, Doucet.

First I've read, but an evaluation that finally has Robiskie as a 1st round possibility.

Ridiculous. Robo, Laurinaitis, Gholston, Boone, Jenkins ... 5 1st round picks, all as Jrs?!

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Though I hope he doesn't and I don't think he will

Yeah but money is a relative term. If by staying for one more year his signing bonus goes from half a million to 2 million, that's a 300% return on investment here.

P.S. not a bad return considering the talent that's returning for next year.
