Of course they will. But the cooler the unis, the better the players are likely to be who are wearing them (or so the thinking goes ...). Again, they have nothing to do with our chances of winning Saturday night.

Haven't talked since Sunday saving my voice to lose it Saturday night. Went to Wiscy last year and been waiting for this game since then. Go Bucks!!!

I feel kind of the same way about this game as I did against Illinois.

I don't have the greatest feeling about it. Last year's team wins this game by 20+. I am not sure this one does. I'm pretty sure the defense will be fine with a week to heal up, but it's all about how far the offense has progressed. With a true freshman at QB, you just don't know.

The ones who talk with the kids on a daily basis, recruit them, hold massive amounts of research data, etc. Basically, people with hard numbers and an understanding of the individuals involved (i.e. the players). To be quite frank, I think some of the old unis are ugly, the same ones many here hold up as the "gold standard." It's an age/demographic thing. If that makes me less of a Buckeye/fan in some of your eyes, I really don't give a damn. If they're ugly or not has no bearing on the outcome of the game. The only part of the unis that might have any bearing on the actual game is the new pad technology.

As for the game...

All of this. Plus I'm still worried about the linebackers. Everyone should read the alongtheolantangy.com defensive analysis from the Illinois game. What I take away is that the linebackers could be confident in what play Illinos would run based on formation. I don't think Wisconsin will be so transparent.

Texas, Alabama, Oklahoma, and USC recruit just fine without Nike dicking around with their uniforms.
