Have you actually ever taken the drive from downtown LA to South Central (which is where SC is)? The campus is like a compound inside a shit hole.

Can't say I have, but it didn't look that far from the famous action. But that is neither here nor there. How about we focus on the game and not whine about the unis?

The double reverse (plus a PA fake at the beginning) also decimated Wisconsin, when most teams have eaten that play alive.

Excellent comparison (obviously a poor man's version). Great athlete who happens to play receiver.

After watching the video that Josh posted, I'm thinking Boom should have a huge game.

Did you see how poor the tackling was, specifically on the Keyshawn double reverse and the 4th down pass to Cunningham? If they struggled bringing those guys down, Boom should absolutely destroy them.

Also, I could see Devin Smith having a big game. Screens, sluggo's, short hitches. He could break one if he can get past the first defender.

I mentioned before, but I'll say it again after watching the video, the Bucks should be able to take advantage of Wisky's poor discipline and speed to the edges.

IT WASN'T A DOUBLE REVERSE!!!

sorry, but it annoys me.

1. USC is not in "South Central" - it is just south of downtown LA.
2. The area around USC is not a "shit hole." You have it reversed. The correct statement is that the area around USC is like a compund around a shithole.

The ones who talk with the kids on a daily basis, recruit them, hold massive amounts of research data, etc. Basically, people with hard numbers and an understanding of the individuals involved (i.e. the players). To be quite frank, I think some of the old unis are ugly, the same ones many here hold up as the "gold standard." It's an age/demographic thing. If that makes me less of a Buckeye/fan in some of your eyes, I really don't give a damn. If they're ugly or not has no bearing on the outcome of the game. The only part of the unis that might have any bearing on the actual game is the new pad technology.

Would you care to share a peer reviewed study showing these hard numbers?

Pro-combat shit has nothing to do with on the field performance. It's about selling garbage to folks in their teens & early 20's who haven't yet developed impulse control.

So yeah it's an age/demographic thing.

Umm that is the actual definition of South Central LA. Washington is the northern boundary. They just call it South LA these days...you know, for marketing.

The adjoining neighborhoods... Exposition Park to the S., Adams-Normandie to the W. & Historic South-Central to the E. have among the highest violent crime rates in the city. University Park itself is actually a bit lower...but still worse than average.
