Game Thread Wisconsin at tOSU, Oct 29th, 8 pm ET, ESPN

I would expect the run defense to be tested by both teams. Inside runs, outside runs...all that. The expectation to be proficient passing is a different story, even if Bucky thinks their secondary is a weakness I'm not confident enough in the playcalling to think tOSU aerial attack will be effective. I believe in the players abilities but not when you're playcalling handcuffs the offense on third down. Setting up the pass with the run works best when the QB is put in a position to succeed and not left to only complete passes on obvious passing downs. ie call PA on Bucky 1st and 2nd down EARLY in the game! Don't wait to be down 14 to start calling PA. Or do whatever.

Go Bucks!!!

After watching the video that Josh posted, I'm thinking Boom should have a huge game.

Did you see how poor the tackling was, specifically on the Keyshawn double reverse and the 4th down pass to Cunningham? If they struggled bringing those guys down, Boom should absolutely destroy them.

Also, I could see Devin Smith having a big game. Screens, sluggo's, short hitches. He could break one if he can get past the first defender.

I mentioned before, but I'll say it again after watching the video, the Bucks should be able to take advantage of Wisky's poor discipline and speed to the edges.

I've been waiting for these since the Toledo game. If the line gives time, these will be wide open because opposing teams are breaking hard on the slant routes because they know the QB is trying to get the ball out quickly.

Why can't we just break this [Mark May] out for games against Toledo and Akron?
Because then not enough recruits would see out great "special" unis.

I understand the dinosaurs here hate change, but it's all about the players, as it should be. If you want everyone to dress the same way they always have, I might suggest joining up with these folks.

Back to the real topic at hand - the uniform design will have nothing to do with the outcome of this game. I'm hoping for the best.

MSU scored exactly 10 playing at OSU. How many did they put on the Badgers?
Wiscy is a different team away from Madison. 0-11 against ranked teams when playing away. They lost in the worse emotional way. And they got beat up.
We need a total team effort and crazy fan support.
We will get both and it will be insane Saturday night!
:oh:

I'm just looking at that Wisconsin offense. C'mon, that is just downright scary. Yeah, MSU's offense scored on the Badger defense, and we should be able to run on them (and hopefully pass enough) and score on them too, but I just can't see OSU's offense matching UW's offense score for score. The Bucks will have to get some scoring other ways and if the Badgers want to turn the ball over and have stupid penalties, I'm all for it.

But the Badgers' offense did score 31 on an MSU defense that stoned us and is statistically the best in the B1G. That's the other side of the coin. Wisconsin turned the ball over and made some mistakes, and that LIMITED them to 31 points against a great defense. That should keep us up at night.

No, it's all about the money. The players will wear whatever the fuck is in their lockers.

True, but 14 points came right off the bat.

The remaining 17 came late in the game.

If the Bucks can survive the surges, they will be fine. Remember, we have a pretty good defense ourselves, and with John Simon terrorizing Wilson all night we should get some INT's. The man made 3 very poor decisions, and the pressure wasn't even terrible when that happened.
