FB: Nebraska, Wisconsin Game Times Announced
Both games will kick off at 8 p.m. ET

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Big Ten primetime football selection process has been completed for all games to appear on ABC, ESPN or ESPN2 and will include Ohio State’s game at Nebraska and its game at home against Wisconsin.

The Ohio State-Nebraska game Oct. 8 in Lincoln and the Ohio State-Wisconsin game Oct. 29 in Columbus both will kick off at 8 p.m. on ABC, ESPN or ESPN2. The announcement brings the total number of primetime games for Ohio State so far to three with Wednesday’s announcement of the Ohio State at Miami game Sept. 17 at 7:30 or 8 p.m. on ABC or ESPN.

The Big Ten Network primetime schedule will be announced at a later date.

The Buckeyes kick off the 2011 season Sept. 3 against Akron at Ohio Stadium.

RB Brown leaving Wisconsin, exploring transfer

MADISON, Wis. -- Wisconsin head coach Bret Bielema says senior running back Zach Brown is leaving the program and exploring his options to transfer.

Brown had his best season as a freshman in 2007 with 568 yards on 119 carries, but his playing time diminished in 2008 and 2009. He decided to redshirt last year with the Badgers boasting a group of backs that included Montee Ball, James White and John Clay.


Clay left school early, but Brown never jumped up the depth chart this spring.


Since Brown is expected to graduate from Wisconsin in August with a history degree, he's eligible to transfer and play for another Division I team this fall.

A lot more tweets saying it isn't quite official yet, but Hookstead seems convinced it is over after talking to Wisconsin & NC St.

This is still a garbage rule. Let players transfer for one season without playing if this is really about education.

The SEC banned it as of this coming October. The B1G should do the same.
