While the D got a lot of good plays, and a TON of pressure, I felt like they weren't able to stop the long drives. Possessions of 16 plays, 14 plays, 9 plays and 11 plays are a little concerning. Of course, there was a heavy dose of trick plays, but the D should've been able to to stop them. On top of that, 368 yards, 118 yards on the ground, is not exactly encouraging.

118 yards rushing on 44 attempts - 2.7 yards per carry. Albeit skewed by the sack yardage. But 36 came off the jet sweep that OSU started stuffing in the 2nd half (the one time Bucky ran it). Clay went 20 for 59. I'll take that for sure.

If I had to pick a word to describe the defense, it would be "dominant".

If I had to pick a word to describe the offense, it would be "lackluster".

I know a win is a win, but this was just not impressive at all. I can't even pin the blame on any one player or position (i.e. WRs or O-Line), but something just seems like it's off.

This is a much improved Wiscy over last year. They should win a lot of games(9-10). Our defense tired in the second half but hung in there and made plays when they had to. And the offense finally got it's legs a bit and contributed. The nail in the coffin was the second pick six.Terrific play by Hines!
A total team effort. Under the circumstances(flu) a fine effort and no complaints about Pryor or the ugly offense.

Wisconsin "holding" game? That's pretty classy. Take a shot at most of Wisconsin's success the last 15+ years, as if the win shouldn't be enough. If Wisconsin has used TOP to their advantage to control ballgames in the past, it's because they've had large offensive lineman and corresponding RB's.

Speaking of class, did the Wisconsin fans try and screw with the singing of Carmen Ohio again? The ABC coverage cut away to soon.

You're putting too much thought into it. Today, they held onto our DL like a TSUN fan to past glory and leather helmet era NC's.

Several Wisconsin fans complained that they were overly strict in calling holding today. I was not one of them, no excuses from me about that, the refs just certainly weren't lenient toward Wisconsin as appears to be the implication. Truth is somewhere in the middle. Traditionally, Wisconsin has gotten a lot of flack for holding from opposing fans, and usually it's just sour grapes. I mean there will be like 7 holding calls, and fans would still complain just because they couldn't wrap their head around how they were mauled by bulbous milk fed young men.
