Who would you rather play in the BCS Championship Game?

If OU holds on, I predict Ohio State will face LSU. It can't be jusified that Georgia (who has 2 losses and didn't win the SEC) can go ahead of LSU which also has 2 losses but DID win the SEC. Kansas doesn't have the strengh of schedule to make a claim. VT got blown out by LSU earlier in the year. LSU is the only sane choice in this mess.

Also, if OSU beats an SEC team, the media will be forced to eat crow. Or they'll blame it on a call like they did in the Cryami game

I agree with you, if we face any other team not from the SEC we are going to hear the retarded media say the best team didn't win the National Championship

IT HAS to be LSU!! It's obvious, there has to be no debate about it.

Georgia and Kansas didn't win their Conference, and VTech already got beat by LSU (demolished). So none of those teams can be ranked ahead of them.

USC you lost to Standford, you get no consideration by default.

I'm pulling for The Buckeyes vs. LSU in New Orleans, especially after Miles just said "NO" to scUM. Les is a smart guy, and no way in hell did want to go to scUM and continue the tradition of them getting their ass kicked by the Buckeyes. NOW, on the biggest stage (and his HOME stage to boot) we have a shot to show him what he backed out of when he decided to stay at LSU, although I'm sure there's no way he thought he'd be in the title game going into today.

I agree. I want LSU, somewhere in the distance I can hear Bob Marley playing the Redemption song. (Perhaps I've had too good of an evening...........but then again, perhaps I want another shot at the SEC). :pimp:

I've watched most of LSU's games this season and no way in hell do they deserve to be in the national championship. They are one of the luckiest 2 loss teams of the bunch. The Tigers have trailed in the 4th quarter during 4 of their wins. Florida completely outplayed them at their house, but they convert 3 4th downs, and then benefit from some appalling clock management from Urban Meyer. They were also fortunate no true top 25's were scheduled on the road. Also didn't have to play Georgia, the team rivaling them for the best squad in the conference. Finally, momentum wise, I'd have to say they regressed, if anything, throughout the season.

Meanwhile, USC peaked towards the end of the season. Their incredibly talented freshmen and sophomores were the catalysts for that improvement, conjuring up comparisons to Florida last season in that regard. Only trailed in the 4th quarter of one of their wins, so they are a strong 10-2. And USC had to play their 2 toughest games on the road; v. ASU and Oregon. When Dennis Dixon was healthy Oregon was a legit MNC contender and ASU is going BCS bowling.

BCS is a joke...but if I'm obligated to select a sole opponent....The Trojans deserve the opportunity to square off against OSU.....not the Tigers.

LSU might jump Ga. and Kansas but no way USC jumps 5 or 6 places. Kansas is actually one who should do most of the complaining.

Yep. But Kansas has been shown to play the suckiest of schedules, the Mizzou beatdown only confirming that they are an average team who feasted on nobody teams and who never had to play Stoops and co.

Actually man I don't care who we play, I only care that we get to play in it and that we win. Everything else is nonconsequential because all I really care about is my Buckeyes and that they get the most they can get each and every year and that they play with passion and desire.

After watching LSU 5-6 times this season, they don't scare me. We have a better defense, and they don't have a crazy offensive scheme. They have a drop-back quarterback, a solid RB and some good WRs... that sounds alot like... TSUN! I know scUM had injuries, but LSU's scheme is not a scheme that we should be nervous about. Especially not with Flynn at the helm.

Besides, and I mean this seriously, who's scarier? Dorsey or Big Vern? Are we really going to be scared of 1 defensive lineman, especially when we have a guy who is equally talented?

LSU has shown weakness in the redzone, and we'll have a healthy Beanie. Objectively speaking, I like the Buckeyes in that one.
