What kind of car do you drive?

I was recently in the same boat... Have a 14 year old, 4 year old, 2 year old, and baby on the way... We have a Honda Pilot that accommodated all the kids, but as much as neither of us wanted one the Honda Odyssey was just too convenient not to have. We also have a "fun" car when one of us doesn't have to drag the kids around. Oddly enough I think BUCKYLE nailed, own that ish mane!

Oddly enough?

I have a kid and my baby mama has a child from a previous relationship. I drive a Dodge Caliber. If they still made the family truckster, I'd own one.

Our first new vehicle purchase, planned for when my old lady graduates in a year, will be a van. Like a real van. Big and customized with comfortable seats and tvs and curtains and all that. Plan on taking some serious summer road trips as my daughter grows up. Grand Canyon, Pacific Ocean, Gulf Coast, etc.

This is quickly becoming the actual Pussification of America thread.
You ever rode in a high quality conversion van? It's a legitimate mode of transportation. Stylish and comfortable.

Frank the Tank: I told my wife I wouldn't drink tonight. Besides, I got a big day tomorrow. You guys have a great time.

Spanish: A big day? Doing what?

Frank the Tank: Well, um, actually a pretty nice little Saturday, we're going to go to Home Depot. Yeah, buy some wallpaper, maybe get some flooring, stuff like that. Maybe Bed, Bath, & Beyond, I don't know, I don't know if we'll have enough time.

Thought about a Jeep until I got close and saw the spot welds................... WTF?
Can't even make spot welds look better?
But if I was off- roading I'd definitely consider a Rubicon. Mad thing can climb a vertical wall!

I would buy my wife the Sienna or whatever, however she is pretty opposed to a minivan.

So, we ended up going with the Sienna. It came down to Acadia Denali or Sienna Limited AWD. I wasn't comfortable with the GMC reliability issues, so Sienna won out. I just laughed when we went to the dealership to pick it up. I told my wife give it 4 years, then we won't need 2 strollers and 3 massive car seats.
