What kind of car do you drive?

I just ordered a 2015 Audi S7 in nardo gray with the black ops package. Basically, this*:

* The picture is of an RS7 with custom rims.

Is the Audi 7 larger than the VW CC? It's hard to tell on the street.
I've never driven the CC, so I can't say from personal experience. But, here are the specs for each car:

Audi S7
Wheelbase: 114.7
Length: 195.6"
Width: 75.2"
Height: 55.9"
Front legroom: 41.3"
Front headroom: 36.9"
Front shoulder room: 57.2"
Rear legroom: 37.0"
Rear headroom: 36.6"
Rear shoulder room: 55.9"
Curb weight: 4,508 lbs
Horsepower: 450 bhp

VW CC
Wheelbase: 106.7
Length: 189.1"
Width: 73.0"
Height: 55.8"
Front legroom: 41.6"
Front headroom: 37.4"
Front shoulder room: 56.0"
Rear legroom: 41.6"
Rear headroom: 36.6"
Rear shoulder room: 56.0"
Curb weight: 3,851 lbs
Horsepower: 280 bhp

So, on paper at least, the S7 is noticeably bigger. Due to the cabin configuration, the cars might seem fairly close in size.

I do know that the S7 has quite a small rear seat - it's really more of a two-person car. The CC seems more capable of handling four (or five) persons.

The back seats of the S7 do fold down, which expands the trunk space from 18.9 cubic feet to 49.1 cubic feet. The CC has only 13.2 cubic feet in the trunk.

What you really get with the S7 is superior styling and performance.

The ponies under the hood make the car. Looked at one pretty hard a couple weeks ago when I had my car in for service. The back seat is kinda smallish. That's the downside of my car too, have to get something bigger with two boys growing taller every day.

I'm still wishing they would bring the RS4 Avant stateside. I'd sell my S4 cab in a half a heartbeat for one of those. I'll bet the back seat isn't much bigger in that either, but mmmmmmm Avant.

Well, my daily driver is this 2005 Outback XT LTD w/a 5-speed manual. I bought this new in 2006 and I've put, so far, over 108k miles on it. Love the hell out of it.

My weekend car is a 2009 Corvette w/Z-51 package and a 6-speed manual transmission. It's got around 23k miles on it now. Love the hell out of it too.

My company vehicle should get replaced next year, and I am going to ask for one of these. Everyone I know that has one absolutely loves it.

Currently driving a '09 Fusion SEL V6, but now that I have a house I need more cargo space for the weekend runs to Home Depot and Lowes.

The new ones are much bigger. The thing that bothers me about the new ones is that, as a car guy, they don't offer the turbo and manual transmission any longer. They did away with that set of options with my generation of Outback. So I'm not sure what I would replace mine with. I was thinking either a hatchback WRX (if they ever offer those again) or step down to a TDI Jetta/Golf w/manual transmission. I dunno. My biggest gripe with the car is that it only gets 24 mpg and you have to use premium so 40-50mpg in a diesel Jetta Sportwagon would be a big step down in performance but a HUGE step up in mileage.

The WRX hatchback is coming back with the 2015 model year.

Just bought a 2014 Jetta 1.8 turbo 5 speed. Averaging 45 mpg on it octane. When I want a diesel I hop into my old Mercedes 300d. If you look at the TDI, you should test a 1.8 manual. Saved 1600 by going manual and it's much more fun to drive. A lot of car for 19,000.

I guess there is always the RS5, but the 4-door is always nice with kiddos...

Was downtown today and saw a guy with a Bimmer 650 who clearly had his exhaust done. Sounded a lot like fast intentions pipes. My first thought was 'look at me, look at me...' but then I realized that's what my car would sound like with 2.5 inch pipes and then I became jealous.
