Not sure if many people are watching The Night Of, but firstly I find it overrated personally. Secondly, regarding something that happened tonightThe theory that there was a missing knife from the set, and that an intruder could enter the house from a window or through the backdoor gate and not see him in the kitchen (both accurate statements), how was the intruder supposed to get to the knife from the 2nd floor window or from the gate and directly to the staircase? teleportation? I already deleted the episode and thought of it afterwards, so I cant remember if the layout would provide cover for the kitchen even if an intruder wanted to go to the living room where the knife was, but the prosecution didnt even question it. theres been several cases of lazy writing in the series. Like 80% of the ideas/theories for the defense coming AFTER the trial begins. And the witnesses saying things they had NO idea about. "Oh, he sent 2 kids to the hospital, not 1? I must have missed that in his file. You know, the one that probably only had 2 incidents in total. I was reading it while taking a [Mark May], surprised i missed that. I think I'll blame him for not telling me though." Really? And the lady lawyer and Kahn making out. Give me a fucking break.
No doubt, the overflow of characters is overwhelming early on. The pace of the show is a bit slow to start off as well, but it gets really, REALLY good!Trying to get into Marco Polo, but the first few episodes were very confusing with all the various characters and introducing them so quickly. 4 episodes in and I think I'm finally starting to understand the connections and who the hell all the people are.
Interesting. I think it should have ended at one season, and I found season two to be trying to capture something that was resolved. Two Netflix shows that are on my "TV"...
Stranger Things. Worth the watch and entertaining, though I am not a big Sci-Fi guy.
Bloodlines. This is really a good show in my opinion. Though some of the twists and turns are rather predictable, I definitely found this binge-worthy. Especially as you get into Season 2.
I'm a little concerned that this should have been wrapped up in season 2 and questioning whether season 3 is going to be worth the watch.
The number of moving parts that were juggling in the final episodes of season 2 left a lot of avenues to be explored, that's where i felt the writing was really good and unpredictable.Interesting. I think it should have ended at one season, and I found season two to be trying to capture something that was resolved.
I actually thought the ending was pretty good. But they continued the trend of "oh, shucks, can't believe we missed that!" when the detective was like "you know what, maybe we should find out where she was before she got into the cab." Like, no fucking shit! You didn't already do that!Agree with the reference above to The Night Of. I was bored with it and glad to see it end.
