What are you currently watching on TV?

But I really came into the thread to say how incredible Stranger Things is. I got absolutely hooked on the show for all the reasons everyone already said. The show is really different and has the weirdest feel to it, but I just love it. The fat, toothless kid with the Lando Calrissian references is just pure gold.

I absolutely loved the first season. Second season I started to wane and eventually I just stopped. I like Kimmy and Titus but absolutely hate the landlord and the divorced wife and rich daughter eventually. Curious to see if anyone else felt the same.

I didn't mind Carol Kane, but got very tired of the Titus storylines.

Stranger Things is awesome. Totally 80s in the best way.

Very much agree, watched the first two episodes last night... hoping the wife goes out with her girlfriends for a nice little binge tonight. I love that opening theme: it's like Stephen King crossed with Pink Floyd (more specifically, say, the Dead Zone crossed with Welcome to the Machine).

First major objection to Stranger Things. A willow flycatcher calling? In the woods? In Indiana in November?!?

That bird would have migrated away two months before any of this happened.:shake:

See? Opera isnt even my lamest interest. It might not even make the top 10.

Noticed SyFy Channel is airing ('cause all Sharknado flicks need airing out) Sharknado: The Fourth Awakens later today.

Think I can afford the resulting loss of brain cells*. May have to watch.

*It's not like I'm using them for anything.

I said this before, and I mean it: if you want a horrible b movie that is somehow delightful, watch Zombeavers if you have Netflix.

I would watch Sharknado 4, but I missed the first three, and I'm worried I will have lost all the plot development.

OMFG, but I can be s l o w sometimes. FOUR of these things, and I only just now got it that the name of the lead character is FIN. :bonk:

Pretty cute having the taxi that picks him up being driven by Judd Hirsch, though. That one I got.

"Yo Adrian, I did it!"

Rocky movies on Sundance. III is just starting.

My very favorite Rocky movie. Actually, after that one, I started composing my own Rocky myths. Did you catch Apollo Creed on Mike & Mike yesterday? He's looking great for a guy his age. His athletic equipment franchise that his sons have been managing for him (after they got their business degrees from Harvard) is wildly successful. They were the first ones to market his daughter's designer sports apparel line--the one she created after she finished her internship with Dior. His wife's still a looker too. They call him Apollo Creed: The Senior Statesman of Sports.

(And no, in case you're wondering, the people from Cocoon never made a return trip to earth either. They're all still well, happy, and exploring the cosmos in awestruck wonder. All of them.)

Sequels need to know when the hell to stop.
