What are you currently watching on TV?

Watched the end of the History Channel series on D.B. Cooper. Pissed me off. (What else is new?)

Two of the "investigators" (a writer and an ex-FBI agent) had zeroed in on a man they believed was Cooper. Put his name, his picture, video of his business, and showed them accosting him at his workplace and getting in his car, all while demanding he answer whether he was the infamous hijacker or not.

Any lawyers passing thru this thread? The guy isn't a movie star, or a political candidate, or an author, or pretty much anybody else who could be said to be in the public eye. How the hell can you air a television program produced as entertainment and make this kind of accusation against someone?
Is there no way he could sue the History Channel and all associated with this program into blue oblivion? I mean, imagine if it was you?

BTW, at the very end they talked the stewardess who'd had the closest and longest contact with Cooper into doing her first interview ever. They brought out photos of their suspect, as well as a video interview that had been recorded when he was younger (he'd had other problems with the law).
She flat out told them he wasn't the guy. No. That's not him. The writer decided her memory much be faulty after all these years. Yeah, right.
Would her damn memory have been "faulty" is she'd said what he wanted her to say?

I hate this crap. Same garbage local news channels indulge in with their special investigative reporters. Trial by television.

Saw a Facebook post (you know they're always reliable) that said there never was a D. B. Cooper. It was a plot by the crew who then split the money among themselves. Kinda suspect there may be a hole or two in this theory, what with a plane full of passengers as witnesses, too.

I just watched Stranger Things on Netflix. It's good not great but better than most stuff on TV.

The child actors on the show are really good. Especially this one kid who has a bone growth disease. I forget the name of the affliction. He is awesome from the start.

We're only 5 episodes in, but Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt is pretty strong. Tina Fey brought most of the comedic timing from 30 Rock. The cast is a lot smaller, and it's following up a stellar comedy with a larger budget, but it's been a welcome influx of humor now that NBC and USA are no longer providing any.

I absolutely loved the first season. Second season I started to wane and eventually I just stopped. I like Kimmy and Titus but absolutely hate the landlord and the divorced wife and rich daughter eventually. Curious to see if anyone else felt the same.
