What are you currently watching on TV?

Did anyone watch the roast of Rob Lowe? Much of it was seriously funny. Jewel, in particular, was surprisingly hilarious.

They had Ann Coulter in the mix, and people attacked her in a mean spirited not so funny way a bunch. I mean, I disagree with most everything she says, but isn't the point of a roast to sorta throw all that stuff away? Half of the comments directed against her were on the level of "you are ugly." Otherwise though, it is a fun watch.

It was great. I feel the only reason people feel it was mean-spirited was because she had literally no reaction. Like, did she understand the idea of a roast? Once she seemed to not take kindly to the jokes (and bombed on her own bit), the comedians just ate it up even more. Everyone else laughs at themselves- they called that one SNL guy ugly, special...shoot Peyton Manning said keep fighting whatever disease you have. Ann was a total B.

Again, it was tremendous.

Peyton was a good sport. I really like him now. He had some great zingers too.

I think it was overall the most entertaining of the Comedy Central roasts. Agreed, Peyton was great. He and Jewel, non-comedians, were better than Rob Riggle and gave as well as they took.

I finally watched.

Pete Davidson calling out Ann Coulter's terrible jokes may have been the highlight to the night.

Jimmy Carr was probably the best overall, IMO.

"Mr Robot" continues to amaze with interesting characters and writing.

Jeff Ross never disappoints, either. Definitely the best Comedy Central Rost, without a doubt.

It was a roast gangbang of Coulter. Whether that was planned or just happened, I thought it was great, especially after her trainwreck of a presentation. She could've gotten up there and cleaned up, but she couldn't do it.

I just watched season two of Narcos. If you are functionally bilingual but not perfect with Spanish, you will love the show. The subtitles are very far from the words said, and really say a lot about translation.

I will probably give the new Kiefer Sutherland show a chance just because it's Doc/Jack Bauer.

They translate "puta" so many different ways in that show.
