The morning groups got [censored]ed. Now the groups that are shooting fish in a barrel get to keep playing in the same conditions for their second rounds at dusk to create an even begger advantage?!

Who plays first thing tomorrow then, the [censored]ed groupings or the one's playing right now?
Totally agree. The guys who played yesterday afternoon and finish their rounds this morning "cleaned up" the course for the guys playing after them.

I guess I don't understand why he would say that about the Memorial because if he really believed the course was too hard why would he play in any Majors. They don't play those on putt putt.

Well, that's what he said. He said that Jack set up the course too tough and he wouldn't be playing. I have absolutely no time for his plastic expression or pasted on smiles.

I hope Tiger comes back and rips him to shreds.

Looking forward to see if Duval and some of the other guys can keep it going here for their next round, 60 minutes later. This tournament already has a very odd feeling to it, imagine if it goes to Tuesday?

Weir with a 64 (-6).

Wow. Would've loved to see Tiger take on the course in these conditions. I'm I wrong to call this a bit of BS?

tiger messed up at the end of his round today. he made it through the tough part yesterday ok. he had his chance IMO. where it starts to get unfair (more like just bad luck) is that weir gets to go back out in an hour.

It is just really unlucky for some, but good point about how Tiger came out this morning. My only wondering to that is, how saturated was the course? There's a difference between good scoring conditions and the course is still slop. There were enough hours there for the course to get sunlight to dry out perfect enough for these scores now.

Well I remember back at Pebble in 2000 that Mr. Woods was the recipient of the good weather luck. He got his at least two of his rounds under benign conditions and the other contenders had to play in very high winds. Not that anyone would have even remotely come close to beating him that year. It is just that some years the breaks are on your side and some years they are not, but they almost always even out in the end....

Love the sign on the first tee. Doubt all be playing there anytime soon, also because of how very difficult it is to even get a tee time.

the only guy i know on tour who signs as many autographs as jack nicklaus used to is phil mickelson. he's by no means a bad guy. also, that thing about him not playing in the memorial because it is too hard is not very believable to me. it was not a direct quote, and i can't find anything else on it. it had a lot more to do with his wife being diagnosed with cancer a week and half prior, IMO.
