Urban F. Meyer (Former OSU, CFB and NFL coach)

He has a history of an arachnoid cyst, which gives him headaches when it is acting up. Rubbing his temples and sensitivity to light are signs of headache that us probably caused by the cyst, which he has managed for many years, as well as the stress of this year. He will be fine.

Just so we keep the medical terms clear for the laypeople here:

Urban Meyer has an anachnoid cyst

Mike Hart was an asshole cyclist

The two terms are commonly mistaken

Edited. Age. Eyesight. Cellphone screen.

Edit again: Arachnoid cysts are usually present at birth and not cancerous. Treatment is often not needed.

Edit again: Thanks for pointing that out Jaxbuck, Oh, and by the way, let's not pretend that's a current picture of your arse after more than fifteen years.

Edit again: Now that I put my glasses on.

Alabama's Nick Saban again tops annual pay list at $8.3M, OSU's Urban Meyer No. 2 at $7.6M

Ohio State's Urban Meyer moved up to No. 2 on this year's list, which was released Wednesday, with a total payout of $7.6 million. He was No. 4 last year with a $6.4 million salary.

Rounding out the top five in total pay this year were Michigan's Jim Harbaugh at $7.504 million, Texas A&M's Jimbo Fisher at $7.5 million and Auburn's Gus Malzahn at $6.7 million.

A little worried how UFM is talking about the team being banges up....I don't ever recall him being this pointed about our injuries.

Wish our bye was after this week... luckily we don't have tough teams the next 3. Team needs to come out and put teams away quick so we can rest the starters.

Agreed. The only team of the immediate 4 that scares me is Purdue. 2009 is still a vivid memory.

Look at the positive, this team keeps being tested. TCU, Penn State and now Purdue's offense on the road in a funky place to play.

OSU has the better athletes, if they prepare well they should be fine and unlike, say 2006, they aren't cruising through a season untested.

The rest of this season sets up perfectly to help this team continue to improve every week and be hitting it's peak at playoff time.

First things first, win the East. Win The Game. Win the B1G.

It was unusual for Meyer to wake up and call a special team meeting this week. He is a brilliant coach and they will enter each game ready to play, with the resources at hand being sufficient. There are some rather concerning injuries on the defense but this is Ohio State. Somebody is gonna stand up and be counted.

Tonight, my wife had a relative from overseas visit. Seemed like a nice guy. Bright. Successful professional. Just got back from more than a month on professional appointment in California.

"Oh, are you from Ohio? You went to Ohio State?"
"That's right."

"So, what do you think of your coach, Urban Meyer?"
"I think he is the best coach in college football."

"I mean that other thing. I was with Dan Patrick when he did his show one day."
"I think he did nothing improper except to keep Zach Smith on staff too long. He answered a question about a supposed arrest that never happened and it was turned into a charade by an ex-ESPiN hack looking for a job. The truth will be amplified in court."

"And Michigan."
We don't use that word. It's the school up north.

"So, you probably hate Harbaugh?"
"No. Not at all. Someone has been feeding you shit because your not American. We absolutely love that doos. He is the right coach for them at the right time. Check out his record against Ohio State. Stellar."

Funniest part was watching the wife roll her eyes. She knew that the bomb would drop.
