University of Wisconsin football (59-0: Deal With It ... or Quit)

Nice to hear Gary Andersen visited his former players at Utah State over two days earlier this summer (to say goodbye again). That's probably something Bielema didn't do at Wisconsin.

Somehow on one of Andersen's radio interviews the topic turned to Wando's and the Fish Bowl (which he said he hasn't tried).

I thought he didn't drink alcohol but I'm not sure on that.

Talk about a culture shock coming to Madison.

Well, there certainly has been a rash of these lately in the campus area, which is a little alarming.

The University needs to step in and figure out how to keep the Wisky players from being mistaken for OSU fans.

Having just shelled out $220 for two B (as in bummer) deck seats to the Badger roasting, about the last thing I want to see is them limping into Columbus with 2 or 3 losses.
Their biggest hurdle before OSU will be a night game at Arizona State. I can't see them heading to Columbus with more than 1 loss though.

Yeah. I mean, due to the fact that UW only plays four games before it plays OSU, and half (!) of those games are against "opponents" in a lesser subdivision. But yeah.

Kudos, Barry. Kudos. :roll2:

Low income folks (mostly blacks) have been moving from poorer parts of Chicago to Madison. The demographic of Madison has changed drastically in the last 15 years or so. This explains the high crime rate and low education standards in Madison, especially the east side.

Hey, I've seen OSU's schedule this year. Don't be so smug. :grr:

I don't doubt your word, especially after bucky signed off, but why Madison? Why not Milwaukee?

If it weren't for, among other things, the two Div I-AA opponents on UW's schedule and Alvarez having the audacity (what with his school's 2013 laughable schedule) to lecture the rest of the Big Ten about scheduling quality opponents, then you might actually have a leg to stand on.

Maybe he's just hoping everyone will overlook 2013...and 2014 (unless they add LSU to start the year, which it looks like they will).

And I only see one FCS team on UW's schedule this year. :)
