University of Wisconsin football (59-0: Deal With It ... or Quit)

Exactly. Two coaches bail on them in two years...and not for blue blood programs. Good luck trying to get somebody in there that isn't simply looking to improve his resume. Plus, the more ad hoc coaching searches they endure, the more likely they move away from the formula that has made them a solid program for a long time.
Wisconsin doesn't use ad hoc committees. Let's not kid ourselves...it's conducted by one guy. And maybe that's the problem.

I posted this in another thread but it applies directly to this

The second time in three years a coach leaves Wisconsin with the AD having no clue. That's what's scary from a wisky perspective

The carousel this year has gotten off to a ridiculous start.

It's like a tornado out there in CFBland and you have to just keep yelling at our assistants to stay in the cellar.

Although I don't think Bucky is an option for any of them, in theory it is a pretty big domino.

Well, this could be the job that a guy like Warriner or Herman get to take a look at. Hell, it wouldn't surprise me if Barry goes after a guy like Warriner. Could you imagine his offensive line coaching talent with the style of ball Wisconsin plays? Paul Chryst will surely be a frontrunner though...

With all due respect to Warriner and Herman, Wisconsin shouldn't have to look at coordinators. They should be able to pull in a sitting head coach from a school in a Power 5 conference rather than have that happening to them. They have the stature to do it but apparently lack the ambition, just like most other B1G programs.

I'm not sure there is anyone they can take who is worth them taking. I think they would be better off going after a good coordinator. Let's be real not even Herman could fix stave

This is true in theory, but they're also being thrown into the carousel pretty late in the process. An up-and-coming coordinator is probably better than some of the HC options out there.

Well they'd better get this next hire right then.

Some random thoughts regarding Wisconsin:

  • 2002 Brooks Bollinger: "The Horseshoe They built it, we own it"
  • 2003 and the fall of Saigon act they put on after the game
  • “I can tell you this,” says Wisconsin coach Bret Bielema. “We at the Big Ten don’t want to be like the SEC—in any way, shape or form.”
  • 1999 some fat cocksucker of a coach let his cretins dance on the Block O logo setting off about a 5 year run of that shit
  • Their fans trying to interfere with Carmen Ohio after several of their losses in Columbus
  • Bo Ryan "deal with it"

Just off the top of my head. There's been more over the top trash talk and dirty play from that team than any others combined so fuck them in their coachless asses. I'm glad they are suffering.
