I hate to see injuries and that is going to be rough on VT...they were likely already facing a daunting task of blocking Bosa and Bennett on that side (I believe those are our right side DL) and now that just got even tougher.

I don't like the bashing about our D when we played Navy, an option threat that put rushing numbers on everyone (Andy Rittenberg)! I think we will be fine Saturday, we are at home and JT has the jitters out.

From what I saw in the first half of the VT game, they play the offensive style that will give us a better sense of our defenses improvement.

Shotgun spread with a QB who can make the quick throws. It seemed very Cal 2012 to me.

I don't know about their talent level but at least its the style that the defense needs to see.

Va Tech played 10 true frosh yesterday, and even they were a little scared playing at home! What's going to happen to them in the shoe!? Their QB was accurate again W&M, our DBs are a little better. And our Dline will be a very big factor in the game, as I highly doubt that W&M was able to bring a consistent pass rush. And I certainly like our chances with guys like Grant, Apple, Bell, Powell, etc at DB against their young WRs. And the fact that the game is played in Ohio stadium with 100,000+ screaming S&G clad fans helps our cause in putting extra pressure on a young team and a QB with only 4mos in a new offense.
