You do realize you are going to have to explain to some of these whipper-snappers what a jock is right?

LOL, for sure. Since they started making compression shorts with a cup I haven’t worn a strap. Those things sucked. When I explained a strap to my HS junior (now) he must have been seven or so when he started wearing cups for lax. He thought I was lying. Can’t believe that we used to wear those things.

I remember when Anthony Munoz and Anthony Hall both left Ohio and went to SEC teams when OSU was desperately thin OT's.

Cooper went and got Shane Olivea and Will Smith from NY and the best Ohio OL that wanted to play at OSU in the person of Alex Stepanovich.

I can just imagine the excitement of @Jaxbuck as he saw the Olivea commit come in byte by byte on AOL dialup  Of course I am just kidding, I was also following recruiting then as well and it is a finicky thing. Carman was definitely disappointing but we have time to make up for it.

Agreed. But that’s just a dream finish. We get 2 of those DEs and one of those OTs and I’m pumped. I’m really worried about OT depth.

I think the DE finish is feasible, but we definitely need to figure out at least one OT. If we can go Smith, Oweh and Walker, I think you call that an amazing class. And I don't think it is undoable, although there is a lot of work to be done.

You mean reading about it in Kurelic's hand typed newsletter.

As I have said, I would really like seeing more OT depth. Early signing period really hurt hear with mid level options. 2 cases in point that won't be available for late additions: Darian Kinnard and Walker Culver. In the "old days" either of these would have been hip pocket options late in the process. Not any more. That's where the Carman miss hurts.
