I don't really think Higgins is a major factor. I think DPJ is a small one. I think Wyatt Davis, Tufele, two stud LBs, both Wades improving with OSU, etc are bigger factors. Plus I still don't know what to make of Jaylen Harris. Is he a taker and willing to lose that opportunity by waiting? Is he on the back burner?

[CaptainObvious]If OSU can land and keep both Wades, they have to.[/CaptainObvious] I would say Harris finds himself on the backburner and on the outside looking in if Lindsey wants in and the rest of your scenarios (Tufele, 2 stud LB on top of both Wades) come to fruition. I don't see DPJ in this class but would love to be wrong.

20. LB Browning / Hines

Lindsey is a stud. Do they have room if they only have 20 spots? Especially if they manage to get all of their DBs? Do you take Lindsey if it gives away a spot for an extra guy like DPJ or Hines or Tufele?

This class is absurdly talented so there's no room to clear weight other than two grayshirts for Blake and Danny.

They're trading up for a better model than Sibley. I don't like the ethics of the thing but that's how things are done everywhere now. They also are not loaded at tailback. Akers likely gets some touches but waits until year 2 to push for the starting spot. Samuel is gone by then. Weber will hope to be. That leaves Williams and Dobbins.

Your 15-20 is just about listed in my order of most likely. I'd swap the order of Young and Akers but that's splitting hairs. I think we land both. I also think somehow we get to 21 and that does NOT include a GS for Danny so the last spot allows for Lindsey. And we land Riep not L Wade. And we are done at DT. We would love to add an elite DT but I don't see it. And I don't see 3 WRs either.

Fully agree on this list and you entire post! And that would be an absolutely amazing haul.

I can't see us not taking Lindsey (at this point we have zero receivers committed). I think Grimes/Lindsey/Okudah are 15,16,17. I'm guessing as long as Wade/ Pryor/ Marcus stay on board, we stop at 4 with DBs.
I just checked out the scholly board and:
We have 9 defensive freshman D-Linemen (6 RS FR, 3 FR), and 2 already this year. Not really a NEED.
We got 4 WR last year+ 2 RS FR, which is average, but 6 recruits over 2 years is on the low side. So I wouldn't be surprised to see us take 3 if all 3 want in.
After this year we should have 4 RBs with no changes, that's a little on the low side.
Linebacker is a little thin where we expect to 8 next year with no changes. That feels like a priority.

With that said it feels like we only take Riep or L Wade if S Wade decommits or we don't get Okudah. With no changes on that front I see 18: Browning, 19: Akers, 20: Young, 21: DPJ/BPA as the list of priority after the 3 I listed above (whom should all be in before the end of the summer.)
