Yea, the calls for Williams and Ross are so moronic when you have a senior that seemingly averages 3-12 shooting :shake:

Actually, he averages 5.7 for 13.3 shooting. :wink2:

Just remember, simply because you haven't seen Ross and Williams fail does not mean they will succeed.

I'll say this about the officiating--several times, Bilas complained about OSU players getting shafted by poor officiating, and I don't recall I'm ever saying so about UM getting shafted by poor officiating. Many times, he was laughing incredulously about how poor the officiating was. And he is an unbiased commentator.

I always find it funny we make fun of fans that bitch about the refs after we stomp them...

now we bitch about the refs after a loss

I know probably every fanbase does it, but it's still funny

Yeah, but it isn't common that the commentators go above and beyond in making it known that the officials were missing calls. I counted nearly a dozen comments from Bilas about blown calls. We didn't deserve to win, but that is no excuse for Ted Valentine's incompetence.

Sometimes I miss Billy Packer.

Your team is getting beat and he starts screaming. You know he has a dime on the team he's complaining about.

If you're going to lose, at least it's kind of entertaining to hear the commentator drop cash. Like figuring out who Brent Musberger bet on by his commentary.

I didn't twist anything. Every time the Bucks lose BP is flooded with posts whining about how the refs screwed us. It's as predictable as the sun coming up in the morning.

The next thing that happens is lashing out at anyone who dares to point out that fact. But go ahead and take a shot at me if that's what works for you. I'll sleep just fine either way.

Well then, when exactly would you like us to bitch about the abysmal officiating across the conference (because we mention it often, it's not just our games, it's the entire slate of games)? B1G officiating is the butt of basketball jokes, are getting called out regularly by multiple announcing crews/announcers, so I'm pretty sure it isn't just B1G fan perception after losses. We even mention it during games we win, but obviously we're a little happy at the fact we're winning so it gets glossed over pretty quickly. Of course it's going to be talked about more often after/during a loss. That doesn't change the fact of the matter (that B1G officiating is a joke), it's just when the discussion tends to occur.

I've seen very few people saying the refs lost us the game, and many going out of there way to make that clear.

I just don't really see what harm is being done by giving Ross a go. If he plays poorly, there is this thing called a bench. He's very familiar with the bench. I think, if given the opportunity, he will do whatever it takes to avoid going back to the bench.

My biggest problem is, not only is he on the bench, but he's at the END of the bench. He isn't even considered unless it's garbage time.
