And yet, Michigan had more fouls called on them than us.

The refs didn't lose this game. We did.

So what? Thomas was undercut on a layup at one end with a no call and got called for a bump with the chest immediately at the other end. The charge calls (some of which were questionable) cost Ohio State 7 points.

Bilas was right several times. Morgan was riding Sullinger out with his hips when Sullinger was shooting with no calls made.

Still it was only a three point loss.

And the calls for Williams and Ross to start? Moronic idea.

To be great this year we needed contributions from out freshman..we aren't getting anything..look at the recruiting threads from lst year Scott was going to start..Ross would be a 3 point demon..nowhere to be seen!

I think sometimes it takes the coach to play some of the freshmen, and even some of the sophomores.

Yes my post was about the refs, and if you actually read it, the post is about the fact the reffing as a whole has been bad in the the B1G. But go ahead and do what you do best, Jake, and twist my post to match your little stand against all of those who don't think exactly like you.

I didn't twist anything. Every time the Bucks lose BP is flooded with posts whining about how the refs screwed us. It's as predictable as the sun coming up in the morning.

The next thing that happens is lashing out at anyone who dares to point out that fact. But go ahead and take a shot at me if that's what works for you. I'll sleep just fine either way.

All the complaining about Valentine, and I'm not defending him, but God I hate Mike Kitts. He is a horrible official who swallows the whistle for bumping and physical contact on shots and then calls ticky tack fouls on non-shooting plays.

Start

Play big minutes. Don't matter , Why is it moronic though?

We've looked bad against very very average teams. After 2 it was just a bad game by us. Kid has a career night , Chalk it up to that.

NO. It's way more than that

Bingo. Ross has seen, what, 5 min. of garbage time? Is he really that bad in practice, or does he do stuff that pisses Thad off outside of his play on the court (attitude, classes, etc)?

I get the whole "don't blame the refs" crowd. I really do. OSU missed a ton of shots.

But the combination of moving screens by Michigan, BS charge calls on Ohio State, non-calls on Michigan defense had a huge impact on that game. It was probably the difference between a win and a loss.

If they shoot the ball welll AND Michigan gets called for all of their fouls, that's a 15-20 point win for OSU. Easy.

I might not dismiss such thoughts so quickly if they didn't happen every time we lose. Bucks loss = blame the refs.

I agree!

Echoing what I was saying after the defeat to MSU. When will Ross get his opportunity? I mean, he missed his opportunity against cupcakes, and it is Big Ten time now... But what more does Ohio State have to lose by taking a gamble on giving Ross his chance to shine?

Yea, the refs were bad as well as tOSU players (except DT) and the guys on the bench (you know the one's wearing ties, especially the one with the rather large proboscis.)

You can't win with guards that can't score at all. WB mister clutch, yea right Bilas...
